Rude, crude and impolite.
Does not read reports from other Drs. Or test results. Had a terrible temper when presented with facts disputing his statements. Says you make me angry and leaves the room
What immature actions from a professional. More child like.
My opinion of how I viewed the incident.

Dr. Rivera is a phenomenal doctor. He wants to truly understand the CAUSE of the problem; not just treatment of symptoms. Some people expect to go to the doctor, get some kind of medicine and go on their way. Dr. Rivera would rather run tests and treat the entire body process / breakdown. Sometimes, that involves him spending more time with some patients than with others; depending on where they are at in their care. I personally do not mind waiting for a good, comprehensive, doctor with integrity than a dr that rushes you in and out because he has a 10 minute window with you. I will forever stand up for Dr. Rivera. The office is also very lucky to have Brittany as the nurse as she is incredibly thorough in her duties as well. I have never had to ask her twice for anything and she actually reminds me of things. Very patient oriented and such integrity. Kelly, the office manager is also very aware of the goings on in the office and is right there to jump into any situation to help out or there to give a friendly hello. The office as a whole is incredible and I would NOT see or recommend any other pain physician. He and his office are by far the best. And cannot forget about Mrs. Dr. Rivera.such a beautiful gem to run into in the office. So welcoming and kind. After knowing Dr. Rivera and his staff for many many years, if you have a problem with him or any of his employees, maybe you should take a look in the mirror.

Great staff and great doctor went for my assessment and found I needed more test and had other problems related to my accident

The worst doctor ever they said they would send report for surgery I went to my primary doctor and he said he did not get it.so I said what do I do he said you need to go to the office and get it.so I called my surgery doctor and the nurse said the doctor that is doing surgery is leaving town.my primary Dr said you need to get this report or no surgery for two months.so I called and told them I'm on my way please have my report ready and when I got there I left my truck running went in and told them they dropped the ball and I need my report.the lady said the nurse will be out with it then the nurse came out and I asked if she remembered me from the 31st appointment.and told her I need the report for Dr for surgery cause they never sent it she says.and I have names and numbers of patients they couldn't believe how rude she was. She says sit down before I have you escorted out I said why would you do that just give me my report? So the cops came and said wow the nurse must be having a bad day.they had my report in hand and I said wow they called you guys for what and then the police lady said yup they dropped the ball and you had to come get your report right I said yup that's correct.and they ran my drivers license this office sucks they are never to be trusted they drop the ball for health care then have me humiliated by the cops. The nice customers in the office who I have names and phone numbers for are going to testify if I sue. If you do what they tell you then they act this way I should have taken it farther with the police.but was in shock over the fact that they called them for nothing.so were the clients that were in waiting room. I should have figured it out when I first came in they were more concerned with getting there food order right and taking on there cell phones instead of seeing patients I waited 1 hour extra to get in to be seen. Don't trust this guy look at the review when he miss diagnosed a client where he gave him 12 months to live and was wrong.

Best staff, professional and courteous. Dr Rivera was precise in his treatment and explanation. Would recommend highly!

I had to come back on here reason being you know all the insurance has changed this year of policies are different each doctors accepting something different and that important part of either having a PPO or HMO none of the offices want to tell you that until you've already made all the appointments and everything not here listen I also am just floored they answer the phone here I'm not going to say they Joanne literally every time I call this doctor's office answers the phone I'm just in shock but if you guys need a good doctor now be calling that to Riviera. I haven't been there yet to see the doctor but making an appointment I'm pulling teeth getting Dr pages office to send over a referral so I called and I got like a guardian angel her name is Samantha so she's going to call and get my referral for me thank you Samantha you're one in a million. Very well professionally done.

I have to say I am so glad my last doctor moved to Colorado. If not, I would have never been referred to Dr Rivera. I have been going to his practice for about 15 years. I think of Dr Rivera and staff as family. They are an amazing group of people. Dr Rivera might be psychic! I'm joking but he already knows what's been happening to your bones and muscles in the last month before you even sit down. Years ago, when there was an opiate problem, I was taking more than needed because I was given more than needed. He knew exactly what to give me. He went down on the opiates and increased my benzos. He knew I was on my way to Neuropathy, before I knew. He knew the painful symptoms I was having went beyond the seven specific conditions I was diagnosed with that was directly a result of a spinal injury. He mentioned the leg cramping and spasms I was having. He explained that benzos were a great muscle relaxer. I was so happy to be able to take a medication that would help my muscles because I could not take a muscle relaxer. They had an adverse effect so I had to deal with it. Dr R knew that a mild benzo throughout the day would help those involuntary muscle spasms. Everything he has done for me has improved my quality of life. He is amazing. I thank God all the time that he is my doctor.
