I was surprised to get an appointment so quickly. I waited less than 10mins. They were really thorough. The doctor really listened to me. This was my first visit and I hope the treatment and courtesy continues

Dr. Ahmar listens to my concerns and does everything she can to assist me. She is always attentive, caring, and courteous. Her staff is wonderful too!

I was seen by GYN Dr. Ahmar several years ago. During the exam. I suffered tremendous pain but she would not stop! I rate her not 1 star but ZERO. She didn't care that I was in pain. I have not seen a GYN since that day.

DR. AYESHA AHMAR IS A GREAT DOCTOR. SHE WAS MY DR. YEARS AGO BUT UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO RELOCATE I CAME BACK AND AND IAM SO HAPPY SHE TOOK MY INSURANCE AND IS MY PRIMARY CARE PHISICIAN AGAIN. I TRUST HER WITH ALL MY MEDICAL NEEDS. SHE IS A GREAT DR.

I have been with Dr Ahmar since 2005. She and her staff have always taken care of my needs and when an emergency occurs they get me in asap. Her new PA Sharron is a keeper. Compassion is never spars and professionalism is always above reproach. Dr Ahmar has a great team and they should all be commented for the work they do. Thank you to Dr Ahmar and her staff. I visit the Longwood location. The front desk staff was professional and friendly and well educated on insurance and labs questions I had. The registration process was quick meaning I didn’t have to wait long. The nurse was friendly and the nurse practitioner Sharon Gokool was very attentive. She took time and listened to me. During the examination she was very detailed. My visit there was great. Great service. Thank you ladies for giving great customer service.

This is not the first consultation I’ve had in this office, that has left me feeling dissatisfied. I do not like to give bad reviews. I feel that “ if there is nothing good to say, it’s best not to say anything at all” but today was the cherry on the top. I felt the consultation rushed, Dr Ayesha Ahmar took a phone call during my consultation and told me I was done, and asked me to go get checked out. Not sure what it was she was reading and typing on her tablet, in the few minutes I was there, but if she was paying attention, she would have noticed the reason for my appt. The worse thing is, she had a med student shadowing her. So is this how she teaches? Very dissatisfied and I will be looking for another Dr A. S. A. P

I love, love, love Dr. Ahmar. She's been my doctor for years and I can only say the most wonderful things about her!

I been a patient here for almost three years. I do agree with previous reviews I have read. I having leg pain, hip pain and lower back pain over the last three months. She has shown very little concern for my care. Recently, I have had more appointments in the last few months than I have ever had with her since she became my PCP. I have asked for a lumbar/sacrum MRI that another Doctor wrote in his notes to have my pcp order. So she orders just the sacrum MRI, so I ask her to order the Lumbar with the sacrum and supposedly she did. I called the imaging department to find out the only order they had was the sacrum. Note, I have a L5 bulging disc, car accidents, been a RN for 25 yrs, when this all started she wanted to send me straight to PAIN MANAGEMENT DR, really! I suggested PT she disregarded that, muscle relaxers and anti inflammatory medications that I had to request in order to get them, and I asked her to repeat the MRI from two years ago. Not to tell you I have a bump on my lower right sacrum area that the another doctor said he thinks it is bone or of no concern but recommended a MRI of the lumbar and sacrum to confirm. She sends me a message telling me she sent the order which she did, but only the sacrum order. I messaged her back asking her about the lumbar and she said she sent that, then proceeded to tell me to find another PCP! All of sudden I been having this pain since December, my previous visit was on October for my yearly physical and then the time before that was almost a year before that. If you have major medical needs find another doctor because when you become needy she becomes ignorant and shows you she DON’T care. I was never a problem until I got needy for treatment. My advise look elsewhere if your in need of a compassionate MD, this is not the one. I been in the medical field as a RN for 25yrs in many different specialities of medical care. I know she is not the Doctor for my care. She makes you feel like your the burden, no I not the burden I just know how to advocate my health care. My other doctors enjoy me assisting in my healthcare needs, sorry you didn’t!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Ahmar and her kind staff. I just recommended her to a friend that looking for a Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Ahmar is a wonderful, understanding and very professional. I found that I was able to speak with her about anything and she listened with an open mind never judged but quick to resolve problems, I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a personal physician she's tops

I have been calling every single day for about two weeks to get a prescription filled. Finally, they send it over and only to find out it’s not covered by my insurance plan so now here I am again four days in trying to get the new prescription. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to get this taken care of. Someone is definitely dropping the ball left and right.

This is probably the best experience I have had with any primary care physician/ nurse practitioner/ staff ever. Dr. Ahmar is excellent at her job, extremely open minded and understanding. A lot of physicians are "set in there ways" but that's not how the world works. Things change and Dr. Ahmar knows it. On top of that the whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm grateful to have stumbled across this place. 10/10

Dr and nurse practitioner ignore and belittle your concerns.

I did express my concerns multiple times in office to multiple providers. So no I'm not going to call again.

After a recent move to Lake Mary, I was searching for a new doctor and after reviewing the many options I decided to make my new patient appointment with Dr. Ahmar, and I am so glad I did, having completed my first visit. Dr. Ahmar took the time to review my medical history and recent test results and asked about additional details that were missing in the records. I was so pleasantly surprised by how she did not rush thru the appointment and took time to answer my questions. She came across as someone who deeply cares about her patients' well-being and listens to all the concerns. In addition, it was easy to get in touch with the office to make the appointment, I found them all very friendly during my visit, and they got back to me right away after checking with the doctor about a lab order question I had. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Ahmar for my future medical care needs.

I've been a patient of Dr Ayesha Ahmar for many years and she has always been very attentive, thorough and makes me feel at ease during our time together. She takes her time with her patients and she is a very caring person. I look forward to many more years with Dr Ahmar as my Primary Physician.

If you’re looking for a provider that will have you wait over and 1 hr and half passed appointment time constantly this is the perfect place to go.
If you want a dr who disregard your actual concerns and hears what they wanna hear and treat what they feel you are there for this is the DR. For you — I, 1st visited her office gave a play by play why I chose her office and explained the experiences I’m having and how it’s gradually increasing to other problems she focused on the others which was temporary but not the source - and after today appointment after I told her I was short on time because she was late again after sitting in a small shoe box room with no air circulating- she’s like oh your claustrophobic- lady stop playing with me.she goes well it appears we have nothing to talk about I’m like years the constant discomfort I’ve been experiencing- her did you see a dentist yes said in the last 4 visits- also and ENT dr twice told you that on the last 4 visits also mri with a neurologist.she’s goes so what do you meds for chronic pain, me I never said pain but discomfort
But if you not willing to listen to what I’m telling let me know - she gets an attitude and said find you another dr we are done here.

So not understanding how you beat me getting upset because I’m telling you why I’m here but you wanna treat other issues but not listen to my major concerns.

I don't remember having a more caring, comprehensive experience with a Physician. The staff at this office are efficient, professional and kind. As a Senior, attentiveness and respect are a rare find. Thank goodness for a Physician of Dr. AYESHA AHMAR'S caliber, who listens with her professional mind, as well as her caring heart. I am grateful to have found her!

Terrible. Never seen such long waiting.once they take you in the room, it was 45 mins waiting.my appointment was at 9 AM and i met doctor exactly at 10: 02 AM.reception told me that dr is having morning snacks.well ok then you should have given me appropriate time based on dr’s snacks time. I have 2 kids and i am working fulltime, time is very important to me, you should not just make people waiting like this. Also when doctor came in, she did not smile or said hello and asked directly what’s happening, well being professional i know thats not how you treat people after making someone waiting for 45 mins. She did not Bother to diagnose on whats happening with me, she just push the pills (Antibiotics). When i asked on what is happening she said you should go to specialist. I am so disappointed with the service. Will not recommend to anyone. I also saw couple of customers nodded being unhappy with the waiting when i was talking to reception about this much of waiting time. I am sure others are also facing the same thing as i did.
