Dr Dan's Animal Hospital, Vero Beach FL

This office misdiagnosed my 3 year old female dachshund with something that mostly older male german shephards are diagnosed with. I have gone to two vets since my bad experience with this office and both vets have advised that what this office told me is wrong with my dog is NOT the case. After going to other vets there is a very clear difference in the compassion and care other vets take towards your animals vs this office who just seems like they want to get your pet in and out.

Always there for my dog in emergency situations. All the docs explain everything fluently.

I had, what I thought was an urgent issue with a 14 week old kitten. She fell off the couch and was not putting any weight on her one leg. I assumed that she broke something. I had never been to Dr Dans but I called them because my cat vet didn’t do orthopedics. They got me an appointment the same day. They scheduled me knowing that I had a current vet I used. They still scheduled me the SAME DAY assuming I might be a “one-time” client. Dr Dan performed an exam of her injured leg and was confident it was a “soft tissue injury”. He gave her an anti-inflammatory injection. He went further and assisted me with how to deal with my 3 year old tortie princes who has been totally evil with the new kittens. Overall, my experience at Dr Dans was an exceptional experience. UODATE: The kitten started putting weight on her injured leg within a couple days. AND the cost of services was considerably less than I have paid elsewhere. Dr Dan and his staff are exceptional. Highly recommend.

I recently had to part with my cat, Dr. Sara and her staff were kind, compassionate, caring, respectful and very patient with me and my cat. I would recommend Dr. Dan's 100 times over and I wont take any of my fur babies anywhere else now or in the future.

Wonderful people! Been taking my pet family there for years. Today they met out Tortoiseshell "Wicket"

Waited longer then expected and could be more friendlier towards my pets. The assistant tech was very helpful. The Vet seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. Good have been a bad day.

Now I know why everyone says Doctor Dans is the best! They are so knowledgeable, professional, kind, honest and overall just awesome people over there. I am happy to have found them for my crew! I have now been there two times with three of my animals and both times have been 10/10 in every aspect. It means the world when I'm already stressed carting two dogs and my (nonfur) babies around and on a tight budget and they don't try to rip me off and they are so sweet patient and get the job done quickly and efficiently. I've been to many different Veterinary offices over the years and they're doing all the right things. Compassionate towards the pets and parents! Great service - very informative - looking forward to going back.

I really like Dr. Dan. He put me at ease when my cat wasn't well, told me my options for care, and was very tender with my pet. His assistant at that time, was very friendly, polite, and upbeat. Exactly what you want in service when you're worried about your fur baby. The next visit was just to pick up some flea meds and the aide wasn't as friendly, barely cracked a smile. I'm sure she gets inundated with us crazy pet owners, so I give her a pass. Would recommend this vet.

I had many recommendations to go to Dr. Dan's Animal Hospital from people who have used his services for their fur babies. I am the mommy to a shitzhu named Nazareth and a turkish angora name Chase Manhattan. Both of my fur babies are always well cared for during their visits at Dr. Dan's. We are extremely pleased with the ease of communication we have with the entire staff. My fur babies are very comfortable with everyone there and that makes a much less stressful visit for this Mommy. Thank you to all who care for my fur babies at Dr. Dan's Animal Hospital. I can honestly say if you are looking for Veterinary care for your fur babies look no further as Dr. Dan's is the best around.

Went there with a friend for her dog. The staff seemed annoyed and the Dr. Was arrogant, inpatient and clearly in a hurry.
I have 2 dogs and a cat that place will never see my pets.

Always friendly staff and its nice to have a Doctor who thinks treatments through. Not just try to soak you for all you have.

Dr. Dan and Dr. Sarah always gave wonderful care to our family animals. Because we haven’t brought one of our dogs in for a visit for 1 1/2 years (has 3 year rabies shot and hasn’t had any issues), I was told that the office manger said that they are not accepting “new patients” at this time. So after more than ten years with them, they will no longer be able to care for my pets. I am very sad and disappointed. The doctors and staff used to be so wonderful and caring. The receptionist is one of the rudest people I have ever had to speak with. Perhaps she should get some customer service training.

I would like everyone to know about the exceptional care my cat Bruce (yes, he's awesome) has had at Dr. Dan's Animal hospital and particularly with his Vet Dr. Sara
Bruce was a true Fatty McFat Fat then developed a chronic gastrointestinal illness causing him to lose a significant amount of weight.
Dr. Sara was always terrific but during Bruce's illness has been amazing and caring. She put together a regiment of medication and prescription food to help him regain his health. She calls regularly to see how he is doing which to me is amazing particularly since my own doctors dont do this.
It's heartbreaking when the pet you love is I'll but knowing that they have compassionate Vets who truly care gives a feeling hope.
