Dr. Shenassa treated both my sons’ injuries; one a torn UL due to a sports injury and the other osteomyelitis after a foreign object nearly caused him to lose his thumb. I am so grateful for to him and his team (including PAs Sydney and Michael). Excellent customer service and patient care. Both young men are living productive lives after surgery and treatment one a senior in high school thriving and the other serving or country in the US military. Thank you Dr. Shenassa!

BEWARE OFFICE RUNS LATE ON APPOINTMENTS AND STAFF IS RUDE!

With that being said I am going to have to find a new ortho specialist. The over 10 year relationship with Dr. Shassa is ended because of the way his office is run.

The staff needs to remember that without patients there are no jobs for them. I almost lost mine today because of their incompetency! Keep making policy that empower the employees to have no empathy for the patients. See how it works out for you!

My care team at Cleveland Clinic runs on time and very professionally! This would have never happened on their campus.

I never do these, but this doctor has really been amazing, as well as all of his staff and PA. After surgery I had questions and he and his staff worked quickly to help me feel better. Really made me feel better when I didn't feel good.

1 year since surgery and still having problem with hand. Problems I have dealt with are condescending attitude and being talked down.
Lack of sufficient post surgical care caused infection to return. Has been, always has and still is in network with my insurance carrier yet in December started putting in claims as non network yet refuses to listed to me or work with insurance company.
I have now filed a complaint with insurance.
Wants to amputate but it would be medically UN-neccesary.
May file complaint with state DOH after consulting with another doctor and an attorney. Especially if after so much time has elapsed that nothing more can be done.

I when to the office of Dr. Shenassa but saw Dr. Harvey they order an MRI that needed approval and paper work and the office did nothing. Still after a month they have not done anything for my hand still lots of pain and swollen. The front staff are not very nice nor helpful. I call so many times they don't answer phone at all only voice mail and never get back to me. They bill my insurance a huge amount for nothing, just to tell me that I needed an MRI. I will be calling my insurance company.

Bad attention by phone, nobody solves it, they just throw away the phone, lousy

As a Dentist fracturing even my non-dominant my wrist seemed like a death sentence for my career. After spending an entire day in the ER and contacting two different orthopedics, I was at a loss. I thankfully stumbled upon Dr. Shenassa 3 days later, who was able to get me into surgery the very next day. A week after surgery, I was back at doing what I love as Dentist. Months later, I am still eternally grateful for Dr. Shenassa and his entire team. 10000000/10 highly recommend

Good doctor but horrible staff.they never ever answer their phone!
called over 10 times in 1 day, no answer.leaves messages and no call back!

Incompetent office. Office provided me a BLANK CD of my son’s hand xray. So when I went to a specialist I only had a blank CD with no xray pictures which they charged $15 for. Waiting room is 99 degrees and packed like sardines.

Unfortunately, I only have good things to say about the staff. Other than that, Dr. David Shenassa's visit was horrible. I've been a patient of Florida Institute of Sports Medicine for many years. I've been a patient of Dr. Desimone as well as Dr. Messina and all I have is Excellent praise. My visit with Dr. Shenassa hardly meets their caliber of professionalism.

Horrible bedside manner and very condescending. The only diagnosis I received was that I needed surgery. Mind you, he hadn't even looked at my MRI yet before advising invasive treatment. I had to ask what was wrong with me in order to have him review the MRI results. When asked what was wrong with my wrist his reply was, "I'll explain it to you in Sesame Street terms". No Dr, why don't you give me at least the 10 year medical school version instead! Very disappointed~
