Dr. Ian Kowalski, Davie FL

WARNING: If you are ever a patient in Broward Health, and a pain management doctor comes in, make sure they are not affiliated with Dr. Ian Kowalski's office. They will advice you on what to do then not follow through. I was in Broward Health for a week and the pain management doctors said I should take a pain pill 30 minutes prior to any physical therapy appointment. Well, upon discharge (Broward Health has some many issues with proper discharge orders) I was not given pain meds (although per above I was told to take them). I called Dr. Kowalski's office and it took 5 days for a return call, and that call was simply "our office manager has been on vacation, she will call you on Monday. " Well, of course she did not. When I finally called again on Tuesday, the office manager had no apology for the situation and now would not do anything for me. Upon asking for a number to call to file a complaint, she hung up on me. When calling back and asking for the number again, she hung up on me. Steer clear of this doctor because Anita does not want to help a patient and you don't want to deal with an office does would allow that situation.
