Dr. Jason A. Boardman, MD reviews
5The way he treated my friend while she was in a lot pain for days says that the surgery could wait till after the holiday weekend while he was on call is a disgrace to the to the title he holds as a doctor.
While I've heard great stories about his surgical work, I've also heard that his bedside manners are horrible.
I visited on 9/9/21. The front desk and nurses were exceptional, however; Dr. Boardman HAS HORRIBLE PERSONABLE SKILLS. Whenever I tried to explain my pain, he interuppted my response. Whenever, he asked me a question, he interuppted my response.
He asked me if I had bad coughing spells during COVID that would cause an abdominal tear, although I told him no, he shook his head yes. This was not my case. I attempted to explain where my pain was, which was behind the right side of my belly button.
He touched a different area (which was tender). When I jumped, he assumed this was the focal point of my pain, when the focal point was actually the belly button area. Since he didn't feel any bulges in the area he touched he diagnosed me without feeling the target point of my pain, which if he had felt where the pain originated, he would've felt the bulge.
He never felt the budge because he didn't have time to listen to my responses. He also kept looking at his watch every minute (no exaggeration) HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE. If he had at least let me tell him where the target area of my pain was, I'd feel much better with my diagnosis, but how do you diagnose something and you didn't even touch the area where the pain originated. He only touched a tender surrounding area.
Unfortunately, he dismissed me before I could even tell him that. He also told me to "have a nice life"
I DONT CARE HOW NEAT THE INCISIONS ARE, IF I CANT COMMUNICATE WITH YOU AND EXPRESS THE DEPTH OF MY PAIN, THERE'S A PROBLEM!
I am sadly dissatisfied!
After laying in a hospital bed for 4 days (and then being discharged) with an undiagnosed bowel obstruction, Dr. Boardman saved my life! My body was septic and I was literally dying. Thank you so
much for your knowledge and compassion.and for saving my life! Most real, down to earth health care provider I have yet to meet!
Dr. Jason Boardman had done my hernia surgery about 3 months ago. After the surgery was over I regretted doing it cause the amount of pain I was in during recovery. But when ever I called the office to tell them how I felt I spoke with Dr. Jason Boardman he told me those pains are normal and part of the healing process. I WILL SAY I NOW AM GLAD I HAD THE SURGERY BECAUSE IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL PROCEDURE AND HE FOUND TWO HERNIAS WHILE DOING THE PROCEDURE AND FIXED BOTH. Thanks to Jason and his staff for getting me back my normal self again.

Dr. Boardman is one of the best doctors in the Clermont area. He listens to his patients and actually has a conversation with you. He is down to earth, easy to talk too, thinks out if the box and in my opinion a very good surgeon. He has certainly made my life better.
