Dr. Javier J. Soto, MD, Rockledge FL

I had an appointment with Dr. Soto on July 2023. Days before I was called to let me know they need to rescheduled it. The new appointment was for today, September 28,2023, at 8: 30 a.m. I arrived at the usual office at 8: 25 a.m. And realized that the place was unoccupied. I immediately googled his new address and found one 12 minutes away in 5600 Porada Dr, Rockledge. I started calling his office contact number to inform that I was running late, no one answered, even though I called eight (8) times until I arrived to his office. When I came in the secretary was sitting doing nothing. I explained to her what had happened, and showed her the eight (8) calls I had made. The rude secretary asked me if I left a voice message, and I responded that I was not able to do so because the system ask me to introduce some personal data and I was driving. She told me that Dr. Soto couldn't see me because I was 15 minutes late, no matter what happened to me. What a level of cordiality and empathy! In four (4) years of being Dr. Soto's patient, it was the first time I was late. The worst thing about all this whole situation is that the mean secretary told me that Dr. Soto had not yet arrived at his office, but despite that, I had missed the appointment, even thought I was the only patient who was there at that moment.
The eight (8) calls I made and no one answered, the lack of knowledge of the new address and the fact that the doctor had not arrived did not matter, my appointment was cancelled and I wasted my time. Empathy and courtesy are free.
