Dr. Mockler is an amazing psychologist that I have utilized as an expert in the field of Child Psychology relative to child custody cases in family law. In fact, Dr. Mockler has such an outstanding reputation within the Family Law community as a top notch Child Psychologist that I have never had her refused as a joint expert or parenting coordinator by an opposing in the past three years. Oftentimes, Dr. Mockler is appointed by the Family Law Court to perform psychological evaluations of the children and the parents, and is then ordered to provide a written recommendation on the custody arrangement/parenting plan. In such cases, there is often one party that is displeased with the court ordered recommendation; however, I have always known Dr. Mockler to put the children's best interest first. That is why she has such a stellar reputation within our family law community. I have known Dr. Mockler for almost 10 years and I have worked with her many times. I would recommend her as a custodial evaluator, parenting coordinator, or child therapist to anyone who is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable psychologist who is always putting the child's best interest first.

Dr. Mockler lacks due diligence, lacks follow up, and does not do her research. She takes your money with no regard to your child’s health. She was handed our family law case on a silver platter and did not include or even research any of the documentation provided to her. She relied only on her own questionnaire and an erroneous personality test. She did not consider any facts in the case. We even included false allegations of molestation made by the mother to cps and even that was not considered. The custody evaluator assigned by the state and used previously did a phenomenal and thorough job, far better than Dr. Mockler.

Almost five years after beginning our case, it had to be settled because we could not afford to fight anymore for our child. Dr. Mockler’s report was insufficient and did not provide help or a solution to the case at all. We had no choice to end the years on end court battle. Our child was promptly pulled entirely from the school system by his mother in the eighth grade, and just after settling, and has not been back to school since. The intention was for our part of the family to have all access to his schooling cut off. He should be a senior this year. He was placed under the guise of “Florida Unschoolers” and was given no formal education, even by the mother, and will not receive a diploma. For a number of years, our child told us his biggest regret was telling Mockler the things his mother forced him to say. He cried about being suicidal and depressed. He also told us that it was easier for him to just give her what she wanted than to receive her disappointment and rejection of him.

Last year, his mother convinced him to cut off all contact with him and us with no explanation. She blocked us, refused my texts and his siblings texts, and has allowed zero communication nor disclosed any medical or education info for him. This year, she is attempting to change his last name to remove all ties with our family and and his siblings and is moving him to an undisclosed state where she has stated that “we will never find him again”. We have five other children. All who miss their brother. All who are very healthy children and attest to life at our home. He has a father, a step mother, and brothers and sisters who desperately miss him.

Dr. Mockler’s insufficient and terrible job has destroyed that once little boy and our family. She was there to be an advocate for him. She was trained to see the signs of alienation and emotional abuse and she failed him and my other children. If you know what’s good for you, run the other way. Find an advocate for your child that cares about their well being, rather than just collecting more money.

She will take money as her opinion is for sale. She is corrupt in the court and harmed my children, my family. Email stopcourtcorruption hot mail and file complaint at Fl Dept of Health if she has done same to your family.

Okay honestly I’m not sure why anyone has given Dr. Mockler anything but 5 stars. She has been working with me and my daughter through a custody battle for almost 2 years as a reunification therapist. She has been nothing short of amazing. She is very attentive and pays attention to the details. I can wholeheartedly say that she actually cares. She is so amazing at what she does. I will never be able to express how thankful I am for Dr. Mockler helping my daughter get through this entire process. She also has been amazing support for me as well. Do not let the few negative reviews stop you from using Dr. Mockler. She’s the best of the best.

Dr. Mockler is unfortunately egregiously biased and audaciously judgmental. She fails to do her due diligence when evaluating family dynamics and draws precipitous, erroneous, and ultimately perilous conclusions. Her unprofessional demeanor, incompetent assessments, and pernicious conclusions have caused irrevocable harm to my family. I implore anyone considering her assistance to look elsewhere.
