Dr. Jesse Shaw, Pembroke Pines FL

I went to Dr shaw early November with severe knee pain. First let me say that I chose Dr Shaw based on the amazing job on my husband's shoulder surgery.
When I arrived, I was given an xray and then seen by a PA. He told me my knee was bone on bone, fat shamed me, I'm a size 14, suggested
Semeglutide and sent me for an MRI. I returned to Dr. Shaw"s office with my MRI and report, thinking for sure I would see the Doctor. Once again it was the PA and he decided that I needed Orthoscopic surgery. He totally dismissed the fact that I told him about my auto immune disease, as if it were not in any way a factor. He gave me a shot of cortisone in my knee which sent me into an immediate auto ammune flare
The pain in my knee, as well as all other joints were excruciating.
I canceled my surgery with this office. The surgery was to be 3 weeks later. I come to find out that you CANNOT have surgery for 3 months after a cortisone injection, due to infection risk.
I called to speak to Dr. Shaw regarding this experience. I spoke to an office manager who assured me that Dr Shaw would call me. He never did.
I did go to a different ORTHOPEDIC and was told I had a torn Meniscus, osteoarthritis and severe bone bruise. I was told that Orthoscopic surgery would have done nothing for me. Dr Shaw is a gifted surgeon. I am not sure why he leaves his practice in the hands of a PA who has no idea what he is doing.
I will now be unable to dance at my daughter's wedding in April.

I had left knee surgery. Replacement. For him. And my opinion is the best. For the entire team. 5 Star.

Dr. Shaw is the worse orthopedic I have ever gone to! Very negligent and no malpractice insurance. Had 2 surgeries and found out he did a bad job. Had to see another orthopedic and do another surgery to fix what Dr. Shaw did wrong. I would never recommend anyone to go to AllPro Orthopedic you will not see the doctor until the day of the surgery and on top of that he has horrible bedside manners. Office staff is very unprofessional and rude as I have had someone mock me and laugh when I was walking in pain. Worse experience of my life.

My worse mistake ever doing a surgery with this guy first a nurse that's not even a surgeon took the desition to get surgery than dr shaw did the surgery and I feel worse now than before the surgery this doctor never gives you a follow up in fact this is all a joke, this jerk shouldn't be practicing this anymore, he well get his one day

My experience was very good. I changed my right hip and the results were as expected.
The staff very professional.
The missing star for 5 is due to the hospitalization night.

Called Dr. Shaw's office to schedule an appointment. Gave the person scheduling the appointment my insurance information. She made my appointment for tomorrow at 10: 00 a.m. I just received a call from a rude employee who informed me that my Cigna insurance was not accepted.

I am an existing patient of Dr. Shaw's. Very disappointing.
