Dr Jigar Shah : Arthritis and Rheumatology Center of South Florida reviews
15Everyone is so warm and inviting. Laura, the P. A.is very attentive. She truly listens to hrlp you rather than just listening to respond.
This was my first visit. He is very calm, professional. He took his time to hear all my concerns and address them.
He really cares about helping you.
The personal in the office is very friendly and polite.
I love this team of professionals. Dr. Shah and has staff are wonderful. I call or email my questions and receive the response within 24-48 hrs. I live 3 1/2 hours away and it is worth the drive. Dr. Shah's treatment plan is working. Very pleased with his service.
Update 12/23/23 I have been with Dr. Shah over a year. I can honestly say he is the best. He has an outstanding front desk team that supports him. I have physically come a long way with his treatment. Still worth the 3 1/2 hour drive.
The ladies in the office are the BEST! I always have a great experience and Dr. Shah really took his time to hear all my concerns and address them. I'm finally starting to feel some relief after a few rough years! Love this place
Staff is very pleasant and professional. Call you by your name and do their best to make you feel at home. Dr. Shah does his best to explain everything to you. I believe he has his patients best interest at heart.
I have to admit I was rather nervous about my appointment which was a result of an abnormal bone density scan. Once I arrived, I felt very welcomed. Check in was easy and the entire staff was professional as well as took time to review all my concerns and to explain the treatment plan. Highly recommend Dr. Shah and his staff!
Thank you!

Dr. Shah and his staff are very professional. Dr. Shah is very nice, courteous, and demonstrates compassion for his patients. In my estimation he is a skilled craftsman in his specialty of Rheumatology. I highly recommend him as a specialist who will tend to your needs.
Dr. Shah and his team are absolutely amazing. I always feel heard during my visits. All my concerns are taken into consideration. The staff are very polite and respectful. #Awesometeam
Please don't go to this Dr. The dehumanization and degradation that not only the assistant and the doctor had towards me broke my hard. I'm a first responder too and the patient's dignity comes first. On my first appt, Dr. Jigar sent me to multiple specialists, heart, brain, and gastro. I was eager to tell him today that my heart, and gut are clear. I have seen him sooner because last Friday I passed out at another doctor's office a hematologist. The hematologist told me there was inflammation in the body and that had anemia (which I haven't been able to shake off). I got iron through the vein and I believe I had an allergic reaction, but IDk. The hematologist was as surprised as me, the pain I felt that day was 8. I'm the person that saves her number. Ex: spine steroid 7 (and that sucked). I was seen by a nurse, and then an assistant doctor. She listened to all the info I thought was relevant, especially the reason for my visit: passing out after feeling like my body was going to explode from the inside out, I think I passed out because I couldn't breathe. She seemed to pay attention making eye contact and nodding her head and looked at the bloodwork asked by Dr. Jigar. The assistant doctor explained I had no illness in the field of rheumatology. I told her I was glad but I didn't know what's the next step since Dr Jigar's bloodwork didn't show anything but the hematologist found anemia and high inflammation in the body. She said the other labs didn't matter. I asked her why. So she started to repeat what she originally said and would not stop. Like a broken record. I started to ask questions such as: do you have any idea where could I go? In your experience and schooling, anything? Can I drive? What should I tell the person if I feel I'm gonna pass out? And then her answer was "I can't tell you you have something you don't have". My heart broke I was so frustrated since she had put words that I had never said. She started to tell me the original explanation and the cycle began. My heart dropped when she turned to the wall and would not look at me. At that point, I was very upset but decided to break the cycle and verbally prompted her: "If you don't know say it. The hematologist said it IDK and with my respect, it takes guts to say it. " The doctor said "IDK" with a dark stare and attitude. I told her to work on her ego. I was crying and why lie? I stormed out of the office for some fresh air. I was good, being in that office was like a heavy cloud. I turned around with a clear head and realized I was still paying for an appointment with a Dr and never saw. I got to the office and the nurses and doctor were very upset. Dr Jigar asked for my file furious and sat me in his office. Before he would start talking I had him listen to everything. It was his turn and his voice was low and slow. I could tell he was trying to what people would perceive as "civilized". So I sat and actively listened to everything that he had to say which was essentially the same but he made a mistake about why I came in the first place. He mentioned I had come for back pain mostly. Once it was my turn I clarified that I told him about passion out, and other symptoms not related to the back. Why? Because Dr. Chantlani has been working with me for my back way before coming to see him and he is awesome. I came to Dr. Jigar because I passed out on a drive-through and hit a chick file fence so hard the hit was able to get me from unconscious to open my eyes. My car's doors are smashed. He didn't know what to say, and I asked him for direction, and with all that trouble he said I can't help you, I have not experienced how to help you with what going on with you. I stood up and said thank you, happy holidays, and left. It was the best decision I have ever made. I went to the neurologist and she cleared me but she helped me find someone I could get help. Another rheumatologist. I hope this helps you, I would wish this to anyone, especially in the holidays. Please if you are sick stay strong and away from this place.
Million thanks.
Dr. Shah is a caring, knowledgable doctor who listens to his patient. All of the office staff are friendly and helpful. His office is clean and comfortable and there is very little wait time.
I went to Dr. Shah because my previous doctors office was pushy and unbending, I feel heard here and get full explanations.
I recommend him highly.
It was my first visit to this office. It was very easy to get a quick appointment. Office staff is wonderful. Dr. Shah is absolutely great. He thoroughly discussed everything I wanted to know. In brief, excellent experience. I highly recommend Dr Shah.
I really liked this place because in addition to being convenient for me, its staff is friendly and very professional. Dr Jigar Shah was very kind and helpful with my condition.
Dr. Shah and his team are always great. No matter how busy his office is, he sits down and takes his time to ask questions, explain things, and listens my concerns. It's not a common practice in medicine these days but Dr. Shah is one of those rare doctors.
Just went to Dr Shah for the first time. He is very calm and I didn’t feel rushed through the visit. He’s very thorough and professional, and doesn’t want to just push drugs unless they’re really needed. He also didn’t try to diagnose right away. Going for X-rays and labs to figure it out first. That seems like it should be the norm, but unfortunately it’s not. This doctor seems to really care about helping you to not be in pain. Looking forward to feeling better!
The appointment scheduled was on time. The staff very polite and caring. Dr Shah is absolutely the best. I will continue to go to him for his expertise. He treats his patients like humans and not just a number.
