Dr. Jimmy Edmond, MD reviews
7I have never been treated nicer. I love this group of women; so attentive and wonderful. Now, Dr. Edmond I have such a love for him. It has been a long journey between us almost 15 years. He treats me with such love and care. I can talk to him about anything and he understands and helps me get to wherever I need to go. He is like a son to me which has nothing to do with the 5 star rating
I called this office asking if they were taking new patients. They said they were. My insurance provider told me they were in my network and excepting new patients. I switch my provider, have Dr. Jimmy Edmond on my insurance card. I called several times to make an appointment being promised a "call back". I never received a call back. I call again. They are apparently not taking new patients from my insurance carrier. Even though my insurance clearly stated that they are in the net work.
Worst experience and I didn't get to see a doctor. Four weeks ago Jody said they would help me, they were accepting new patients; however, I had to get my insurance PCP changed. She took all my info and said she'd call me within the week to setup the appointment. Here we are, four weeks later and today I call only for her to say, now they won't take me, no new patients. Really? Commercial is advertised daily on news radio, "accepting new patients", says Dr. Jimmy Edmond. Customer service was terrible during both calls. You could tell she was very unorganized over the phone, she kept looking for papers and speaking softly to herself. My husband is currently a patient there and they continue to call and cancel his appointments without a reschedule. Just seems like a nightmare. Probably a good thing I won't be seeing any of those doctors!
The whole team was great with my family as we navagated through new challenges with my mother.
My nephew's wife was in the hospital 3 months. They were talking about putting her in a nursing home. Then she began going to Dr. Jimmy Edmund. He has her walking and talking again. Dr. Edmund is great!
Just wasted my entire afternoon waiting on this person. I won't give him the title he wears! His girl in the office was great but I spent 90 minutes listening to this guy deal with the patient before me. I erroneously expected he would spend a like amount of time with me, as I had never seen him before. Nope! He rushed me out the door in less than 10 minutes, eight, to be exact. He never answered the questions I managed to get in and there were half a dozen I never got to ask! I don't know who this guy THINKS he is, but I do, my ex-doctor! Keep looking if you're in the market for a primary physician. At least now I understand why his waiting room is always empty!
Abruptly stopped my insulin prescription with no notice. Made an appointment and with updated insurance due to the new year I did not have my whole co-payment. They refused to see me without it, even when I asked if they would bill me. Now I go until atleast next week without my insulin! Real professional!
