After two surgeries and many infections, during Covid, he tried to blame my daughter for his botched jobs. First was him saying she didn’t follow his instruction on keeping weight off her foot which she did loyally a rod protruded from her heel, another surgery was performed and a screw was left behind. Her foot was very enlarged
and started becoming infected, for one year he kept telling her it was her fault I went with her asked about the swelling if it would ever go down he just said he hadn’t seen her for four months I said what does that have to do with the swelling same answer as before. He took an X-ray said he couldn’t read it because they left her wrappings on so it was fuzzy. She started oozing infection after many visits it was bandaged up and an antibiotic was prescribed. Then the next infection he sent her to a wound specialist in his building bandaged nothing done. After 3 years of not listening to a patient she went to a different emergency room, in the time spent there they completed a diagnosis sent her to a hospital and they found an infection in the bone then her leg just below the knee was amputated. I’m concerned no other Doctor would see her because they didn’t want to touch someone else’s botched job.
I’m a concerned mother at 75 years old and now have a daughter living with no foot and many years of rehabilitation. This arrogant Doctor still thinks he was not at fault.
