I was lucky enough to have found Dr. Lara Davis a few years ago. To say I am thankful is truly an understatement. For someone who was majorly introverted and had a fear of being open with emotions, naturally it wasn’t easy to be committed to talking through life with a stranger. I am so lucky she wasn’t a stranger long. Her personality and demeanor is just the most welcoming I have ever felt. Instantly I was working on goals, opening up to new thought processes, and building boundaries. I am unapologetically myself these days and man what a beautiful feeling it is. She has the best balance between knowledge and compassion and I am so thankful for her guidance. I will forever recommend Dr. Davis to anyone in need, and especially my fellow ladies who struggle.

I found Dr Davis doing a simple Google search for “therapists” around my area and I’m so glad I found her. I liked that she had reviews (many therapists don’t have reviews so it makes it difficult to reach out to the unknown) and I loved her website. The website has all the info you need, specially if you are new to therapy like I was. My sessions have helped me tremendously to overcome a lot of the struggles I was facing (anxiety/grief). I highly recommend Dr Davis for anyone seeking counseling. She is approachable, easy going and knowledgeable.
