Never met Dr. MEAD, but just asked a man in my DDS office in Port Charlotte who performed his surgery. When he was very positive about the results. A good result for me is the best way to choose a surgeon. Along with proximity and where surgery is performed
Dr. Mead replaced my right hip March 2023. I had been in terrible pain for several years and put off surgery because I was leary of the outcome. 7 month's later it was the best thing I ever did. I'm no longer in pain and have returned to work and the golf course. Dr. Mead did an amazing job. Thank you Dr. Mead.
His website has font that is so pale it is hardly visible! Crazy! I wanted to read his information. Why does anyone in his right mind pay for a website that few patients can see properly!
Two years ago I saw a local orthopedic surgeon and was told I would need a knee replacement in the very near future. I was in quite a bit of pain but endured it. Finally I saw Dr. Meade. After he reviewed my x-ray he asked who told me I needed a knee replacement. I told him who I saw. He made an odd facial expression and said I definitely didn't need a replacement. He gave me a steroid injection and did say there was some fluid and arthritis. I was fine for six weeks. I'm seeing him today to see if there is anything that can be done to relieve my pain. I like Dr. Meade very much.
Dr Mead is very knowledgeable, he listens and offers great advice. We have avoided surgery with treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Mead. And his staff is great.
