Dr. Maha Zikra, MD, Orlando FL

I had the worst experience ever. I had to cancel my appointment because personal issues (Covid related) and they told me they will charge me $50 fee and I have to look for another doctor because they won’t tolerate it. I explained my situation but nobody cares there. I requested to speak to the manager and it was so rude. The doctor always pushy and rude. Didn’t let me talk and gave me the worst medication. I was about to suit them but God has better plans. DONT GO THERE THEY ARENT PROFESSIONALS. They are there just for the money.

Stay away from this doctor. She is very unprofessional. On my first visit they didn't bother to weigh me or check my blood pressure. I sent my records via email and they never acknowledged it. The doctor stated she would check them and call me back, she never did. This is a very unorganized office. Don't waste your time. I was a patient of yours but no longer. It is under a different name that's all. You are running a very shoddy business.

Dr zikra was unpleasant to see, very pushy and rude. Didn’t listen to anything I had to say and gave me the totally wrong dose that almost landed me an ER visit. Front desk staff is nice though. Most of the good reviews in here are fake I’ve noticed

Doctor and nurses are kind and attentive with patients. We didn’t experience any “drug-pushing” as some others have said on here; they were quite the opposite. They refused to give my father any medications before having his blood tests and his ultrasound done and also accepted how he stopped being pre-diabetic through more natural means.

My biggest qualm with this practice is the condescending attitude of the receptionists. They work in healthcare where there a large variety in age, ethnicity, and language spoken by their patients. If you can’t stand having someone ask a question to clarify they understand your COVID rules, don’t work there. I understand some people have bad days but this passive-aggressive attitude is consistent. I can’t imagine how they behave with people who don’t speak English or don’t have family to translate (I translate for my father who only speaks Spanish). If you cannot tolerate talking to people who don’t think or talk like you, invest in a medical interpreter or hire staff accordingly to the times. It’s 2021.

Dr. Zikra is an amazing doctor. I have spent 30 years with unknown causes for my digestive issues. I have gone through many doctors, hospitals, and procedures to combat my alleged conditions. After seeing Dr. Zikra for the first time, she solved all of my problems and changed my entire life for the better. She diagnosed me with celiac disease, and within a week of stopping gluten, I felt YEARS younger. No doctor has ever mentioned anything about me being intolerant to gluten, and I have spent too long in pain. Dr. Zikra is a life saver, and I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend her as one of the best doctors in Orlando.

Horrible doctor, she doesn't care about you or your symptoms, she just wants to push drugs her pharmaceutical sales reps tell her too. Lied to me about what symptoms would be treated after switching me to new medications and then when I questioned it because my symptoms got worse. She said the drugs didn't help with anything I had a problem with. And she doesn't know why I think they would. Horrible doctor, will not be going back.

Dr. Maha Zikra is a best doctor for me, She really care & nice behavior. She is so friendly that's why I feel free to share her my health problems.

Dr. Zikra is an amazing Dr, that's genuinely concerned about your health. She gives you the medicines and advice you need for better health and a better life. My A1C was 14.2 and now it is 6.2. In 3 short months and my metformin has been reduced to only 500ml a day. Keep praying and do your work and I promise you will see results.

I absolutely love Dr. Zikra. I was very sick for months and thrown from dr to dr not figuring it out until a cortisol test came out low. I came to Dr. Zikra from a recommendation in a group. And I am so glad I did. She was so caring and really cared about helping me feel better. She knew right away I had Adrenal Insufficiency. And a few months later after getting sick again that I had pancreatic insufficiency. She immediately prescribed me medication and adjusted others. And now I feel so much better. Better than I’ve felt in years. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing Endocrinologist who really cares about her patients. I am so thankful to have found her when I did.

They are incredibly nice, they listen and they truly care about you.
As a new or returning patient, they take the time to get to know you, and offer real compassion regarding your health.
And, the moment you arrive at the office, you immediately feel a sense of peace and tranquility as the staff greets you and checks you in.
Hands down, the best doctors office I have ever been to.

Can't believe how hard it is to find good doctors in Florida! Seen in hospital by her after going into DKA. Initially, she seemed to know what she was doing. Starting to go back into DKA, called Dr to get a renewal of my insulin to which she said no I don't need it. Explained what was going on. She still denied my refill on insulin. Going back to my PCP and I'll find someone who actually knows and understands their patients. Please do not waste your time here.

What a disappointment, I waited 60 days to get an appointment, and when I got there I was told they can not see me because I was 30 minutes late that I got stuck in traffic, then I have to make another appointment and wait another 60 days.

Unimpressed by the rude, uncooperative staff who are not capable of scheduling and relaying the right information to patients. Front desk never knows anything and could never answer my questions. Office manager was just as bad. I thought I had found a great endocrinologist but have discovered it’s become more of a hassle than anything to drive almost an hour to wait to speak with someone for 2 mins.for something I’ve been under care for for over 10 years. Unprofessional all around.

In the short time I've been Dr. Zikra's patient she's done more for me then my former Dr of 10 years. She also has gotten me off of both insulins. She takes time with her patients. I would recommend her to anyone.

Doctor zikra perscribed me two medications before having me do any bloodwork. Both which i had horrible reactions to. One i didnt even need at all and she gave me quite a dose. She said my thyroid is enlarged but we will see how it is when i see her again in 7 months? Shes a nice woman but i felt very rushed through appointments. I felt as if she didnt listen to how i was feeling but was quick to perscribe medications she thought would help.

The whole staff was very friendly and attentive. Dr. Zikra was very knowledgeable and cares about her patients.

Very amazing Doctor. She is helping me with my health issues, also her staff is very kind and willing to help with ins.misunderstandings just the sweetest people also call when they have openings in appoiment. Thank you!

I am always hesitant when I change doctors, but the staff and nurses were some of the nicest ladies I have ever met! Very timely too - I was even taken back to my appointment 10 minutes early! When does that ever happen? ! The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. I also like that they can do blood work and ultrasounds in office so I don't have to drive to a separate location.
