Dr. Mahmudul M. Haque, MD, Lakeland FL

Not sure why anyone leaves bad reviews for this Dr other than their own lack of patience. Dr Haque did a great service for me. I did have to wait. But I understand he is busy with other patients that are ahead of me. I certainly do not expect him to rush through his work. I'm fine with waiting because I wouldn't want him to rush through my procedure. He and his team at Day surgery center winter haven are excellent. Thank you Dr Haque

I should've read the reviews before coming here. I went yesterday for my first appointment here. After the employee that scheduled my first visit told me I had an option in this office, when I get there the NP without looking at me or seeing ehat I have, told me they don't do anything whatsoever with what I have. While i'm in pain, can't bend or use my strength for anything and being out of work for 1 week (I work at a warehouse), I explained to them that I need something done because I need to return back to work asap, after telling them this; they continue to want to schedule me for a "maybe we'll do something if something shows up here" appointment in May. So I would have to be off of work for 5 months, for them to "maybe" do something. Lastly, before leaving the office and refusing any additional appointments, the front counter is wide open and everyone in the lobby is able to hear all your health related issues that are being discussed by the discharge nurse or MA, medications prescribed to you and procedures to be done clearly. If this isn't HIPAA violation, I don't know what is.

Let me begin by saying, I am extremely grateful for Andrea Stallworth N. P.and the entire staff. The attention, care and love was like none other. From the moment I got there, the staff listened to my needs, took time to ask me questions and allowed me all the time I needed to explain my issues in detail. I haven't had any other doctors office do this. When I met with Nurse Practitioner Andrea she listened, showed concern and thoroughly explained what was happening. She quickly requested further studies to be done on me and in a few days had all the procedures done that discovered my issue. Upon going to my follow up appointments she was always professional, respectful, kind and sincere. She exemplifies what a nurse practitioner should be. I am pleased with both the Winter Haven and Lakeland staff and extremely pleased with Andrea Stallworth N. P. Thank you Andrea for all you have done for me!

Dr. Haque came into the room and did not speak to my mom or introduce himself as this was our first visit to him. He did an in office procedure and when it did not turn out as intended immediately said she would need surgery the following day. No information on what surgery or risk. Walked out of the room without saying anything. A NP came by looking for him and apologized on his behalf when we explained he just walked out. Additional staff came in the room asking if he was done with us to which we had no idea as he just walked out. Eventually the staff came back and explained he was done and the next steps.

Every time I come to an appointment I’m waiting over an hour close to 2 to be seen. Their is always a lobby full of patients waiting as well. The staff are either laughing and whispering thinking it’s funny when a patient complains. They lie about when the doctor will arrive and keep pushing the time back. I hate it and will be changing to another doctor as soon as possible. Horrible experience with everything and everyone!

After reading reviews will cancel my appointment. First appointment was a meet and greet. Nurse practitioner very kind. No contact with Dr. Appreciate the honest reviews.

Colonocopy scheduled for 8: 15am. Dr.never got there until 10: 00. Never let anyone know he was going to be late. Had to be there at 6: 45. This is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. At least he should have notified surgical staff he was going to be late.

Just started working there. My husband is a patient. Biggest complaint is the wait time. The staff is amazing and doctor is compassionate! I am hoping to help make a difference withpatient's view our office

The nurse practitioner, I believe her name is Nikki that I've seen a couple of times has been wonderful. However, this place is horrible when it comes to over scheduling. No place to park, waiting room filled over capacity. There are 2 practitioners, yet schedule 15 people for the same appointment time. I walked in the first time and walked right out, called to reschedule for a time they weren't overbooked and was told to come back 45 mins later. I did, and it was even worse than the first appointment. I called and left a voicemail that I will no longer be a patient there. Absolutely ridiculous!

I can't honestly say anything about the Dr. Because after traveling 100 miles for an appointment, the office was closed. I called and checked his website for a possible different location, but no listing or info on an alternate location. All other Dr. That I have dealt with have that information available, call forwarding, prompts for auto info, maps, web pages, text reply something that gives information in an information society. His next appointment a month away makes it impossible for me to get my needs done in the time I have, and it didn't seem to matter to them. Very disappointing.

My mothers GI- it doesn’t take much to realize that this MD does not prioritize patient care. Waiting rooms to capacity, waiting time atleast 1-2 hours. On two visits he spent 5, maybe 6 minutes with my mother. Asked a few questions. Looked at his computer more than he looked at her and sent her off with a script and a follow up appointment. Front desk staff is overwhelmed and confused half the time. I’m not surprised, they must be overworked. They are kind and try their best from what I see. But it’s a mess.

Doctors that truly care about your health polite and very informative answer every question you have would recommend this place for anybody

For the Winter Haven office
If I could put 0 stars, I would! Don't recommend at all! Rude staff and office is dirty. Good luck trying to get an appointment or anyone to answer the phone.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Mahmudul Haque. I took my eldery mother to an appointment. We were called back into the examination room within reasonable time.
Once in there, the they confirmed we are there for a follow up. My mother had NEVER been there before. As the assistant heads to step out of the room, she tells us the doctor hasn't arrived. We waited over an hour and a half. Eventually left without being seen.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars! The day of my 4 o’clock appointment, one of the receptionist called me and informed me that I needed a new pcp referral because I switched plans; ok that would have been ok if I was informed that two days prior when I called and provided my new insurance plan. So instead of waiting For my pcp to fax over a new referral they cancelled my appointment! That I waited for for 2 weeks to see the doctor. The staff is rude unprofessional misinformed and lack customer service. Please don’t waste your time with these people.

I would not recommend this Doctor to a cat. His Winter Haven office waiting area I found to be dirty and no one was practicing social distancing. In fact no one can, the waiting room is too small. Of those waiting, only 3 had on a mask Looking into the office area, I saw poor working conditions.and those 4 girls were not even social distancing, amazingly they were wearing a mask. I had a 4: 30 pm appointment and by 5: 15 pm he had not showed up! 0 people waiting so decided to leave. He did not require my DVD of my stomach, only the MRI Dr, s notes. That tells me by reading someone else's notes he is taking their word. By looking at a DVD at least he is able to give a second opinion.
On the door it says office hours 8;00 am to 5: 00 pm Monday to Friday. When I returned mid afternoon on the Thursday, everything was all locked up.

I was referred by my primary physician. He never said two words. Sat at his lab top and wrote out lab work and an MRI. I called the office five times, and never got my results for my test. After three weeks I went another doctor and she got my results in 5 minutes. Someone finally called me from Dr Haques office and said, well you have appointment in a week. That was a month after my results were done. I had seen him in July for the first time. Told her I would not be back.

I would give zero stars if possible, plan on Him being late and not being able to understand him I found him to be very unprofessional and he did not even speak to be before or after. In it for the money no compassion.
