Dr. Markus A. Kornberg, MD, Kissimmee FL

One of the worst appointments I’ve ever had. Not only did it take months to get an appointment with Dr. Kornberg when my appointment day finally came he was rude & absolutely no help. I suffer from severe lower back pain. In June I ended up in the ER for the 3rd time because I could not walk due to the pain & was on a walker for about 2 months. In the day of my appointment the doctors first comments was that I was too young to be there (I’m 31) & that I had the worst insurance I could possibly have. How is that even relevant as to why I was there is beyond me. He proceeded to ask me why I was even there & as I’m telling him my reason he cut me off & asked me what I expected him to do. When I told him my back pain recently landed me in the hospital & could not walk, he pretty much brushed it off. It’s extremely frustrating to keep landing in the ER cause of this issue. When you’re in the ER they tell you to find a doctor & then when you finally think you found one & he’s no help. I asked him what could he recommend for pain since he clearly just wanted to get me out the office as fast as he could. He told me to take Tylenol! I explained that Tylenol, ibuprofen does not work for me when I’m in that much pain his response was “well than just go to the ER” instead of trying to find a solution to help me managed the pain his answer was “go to the ER”! I left that office extremely upset & in tears from the pure frustration of having to deal with a doctor who obviously does not care. If you’re looking for help don’t go see Dr. Kornberg you’ll just end up disappointed. If I could give him NO STARS I would!

Terrible service from Doctor Marks Kornberg, I honestly think he will do a better job being a Janitor no not even janitor something invloved doing nothing, because thats what he did absolutely nothing. He asked me what do I think should be done to my wifes condition as if I was the doctor. He said nothing can be done. And gave us no help what so ever. He is very lucky I didnt tell him off. My wife waited Months to see this doctor. I wanted to tell him thanks for nothing. I really wish I can give him 0 stars. Markus Kornberg if your reading this just know that you are not only a terrible doctor but a terrible human being. Stop trying to only have your patients take shots and pills but give alternatives for bettering there body and health. Thats all I heard not only with my wife but with other patients before me. If you are someone thinking of going to this clinic I highly suggest NO, I feel bad for the employees I can only imagine working with someone mesarable like him. Markus Kornberg you are an embarrassment to society and have no integrity. I suggest you seek help maybe go on a vacation. Smile again. Get out the closet. Anything to get you out of that funk that you are in. I hope you read this and do some soul searching. And go back to work helping people not wasting peoples time. Sometimes I wonder why some people treat others bad, but quite frankly Its because those same people have problems. Mark Kornberg you suck at being a doctor.

Where to start? Today was a horrifying day after waiting for a month and a half for my appointment. To have to deal with a doctor that does the opposite of helping and bringing some relief and understanding of someone else pain. I have severe pain in my upper spine that I have dealt with for 5 to 6 months now, and the pain continues to progress. My primary doctor has to prescribe me pain and muscle relaxer medications and constantly change them due to not working for me. Also, I have been to a chiropractor, which worsened my pain. I tried a physical therapist, but I was referred to see an orthopedic because my issue is internal. I sleep poorly at night, and the pain prevents me from doing many things. I bought a unique pillow for my neck and back to sleep on because it is hard to sleep in any position. The pain is hard to cope with.
I even told my primary doctor that it was affecting my mental health. Back to speak about Dr. Kornberg! Wow, as I waited in the room with the door open, I could hear other patients complain and their situation. No privacy at all for any patient needs! My door was available as well, as he walked in and said get up; I must start to charge you a hotel fee. I stood quiet, thinking maybe he had some humor or I forgot the bed was for the patient in pain? ! Well, he asks what is happening as I explain, he continues to have this weird facial expression making it very difficult to describe the issue, or he asks something and cuts you off. I told him everything I had done to help the pain, and he cared less about it. He turns to my partner and says so, you tell me what you suggest I do for her. My partner says, you, the doctor, what can you do? With a straight face Dr. Kornberg, reply nothing that can be done or fixed is part of getting old in a very inhuman way. By the way, I'm 39 years old. He turns to me and says you want a shot? I say NO. I have gone several times to the emergency room with pain and have gotten shots with no results. After a long time of asking, there's nothing you can do to run some tests, maybe? ! He finally says I will send you to do an MRI. I left disappointed and with tears of what's next— I'm not returning to continue to find the main reason for my pain with this doctor. I couldn't understand why the stress to sent me for an MRI. Why are you assuring me my issue can't be fixed? ! Without the proper test results. You are a disturbing doctor, and you cause my level of anxiety to increase. I will continue to look for the appropriate assistance, and for the ones that feel the same way, don't give up. There are great doctors out there.
Keep looking! Don't let one take away your mental health stability; you are stronger than any negative words! I also suffer from an eye disease, and I have a great doctor that takes care of my Keratoconus progression. I also have a fantastic therapist for my anxiety and depression. Thankful for them is a vast difference compared to this doctor. I felt a horror movie scene today. Oh, I can't forget about poor Ursula running in circles for this doctor, yelling every 3 minutes her name she was the nurse's assistant. Translating in Spanish for other patients, which again I could hear everything, I'm sure my issue also listened to NO PRIVACY! Dr. Kornberg, STOP BEING A HORRIBLE HUMAN. By now, we all understand some things can't be fixed, but understanding and showing kindness to anyone seeking help can bring comfort in good or bad circumstances!

I gave Dr. Markus Kornberg this rating because the reason for my consultation was not satisfactorily addressed because he does NOT dedicate his time to the patient.

Dr Kornberg is a very friendly person and genuinely helpful. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.
