Dr. Miguel A. Correa, MD. Psychiatrist, Leesburg FL

I have been going to Dr. Correa for almost five years now. When I first started this program I was at the lowest part of my life and ready to throw in the towel. I know it may sound cliche, but Dr. Correa and the Lifestream program saved my life. I was brought back to life mentally and physically and really don’t know where I would be without this program. I am ever so grateful for Dr. Correa and his team. They have always been there in my time of need and have become like family. They have always been understanding with my work schedule and travel time. It may take me an hour and 20 minutes drive one way once a month but it is well worth it. I dedicate my present and future self to Lifestream. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for lifting me up out of my own personal hell and showing me that there is a better life in store and helping me find the strength to obtain it.

I didnt like my experiences. He would not listen to what i had to say. When i told him about the medication and what it does to me when i take it, it was like he disnt care or he disnt believe me. On my 3rd day of detox he stopped my comfort meds nd left me with absolutely nothing except with what i told him would have a nad reaction nd make me sicker, i had really bad anxiety for more 6 hours before anyone did anything and by then it was so bad the little mgs he did give me didnt work. I have lost hope due to him. All he wanted to do was just hurry and give me the subs and get me out of the before the weekend.

I had originally posted this review to the Lifestream page but I realize I probably should have posted it here!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Correa for about 6 months. My experience has been great. One of the things I like most about our doctor-client relationship is the respect; he doesn’t talk down to me like I’m an addict which that alone makes me feel very accepted, he’s not afraid to tell you if you’re getting off course, and he also makes sure you know that he sees and respects all your hard work. He doesn’t just hand a prescription and send you on your way like many other doctors. Dr Correa truly cares about his patients and the wellbeing of his community. This is the kind of Dr I want on my side. I’m so fortunate to have been accepted into the MAT program and so lucky to have such an awesome Dr. If you’re someone who really wants to live in recovery, if you’re someone who is ready to be completely honest and respected as a person and not judged as an addict, than this is the place and the Dr to see.

Dr. Correa and Jamie his assistant there are no words to describe how much I love these two. I highly recommend this office for anyone dealing with substance abuse! The best in Lake County Period! I finally got my life back on track And enjoying every bit of being sober again. Thanks to God and My Doctor for helping me heal. Much love
