Dr. Miguel Lopez-Viego, M.D., Boynton Beach FL

Went to viego Lopez office for cysts on my back.both the size of a dime.was told I would have to pay copay plus what hospital charges to get removed in hospital.total was 3,100 dollars plus whatever insurance didn't cover. I thought about it but researched.went to dermatologist by JFK hospital and got both removed in their office for a 50 dollar copay.my question is why didn't they recommend me to a dermatologist? I believe that office did not do the right thing and just are not looking out for their patients. JUST THEIR WALLETS.in times like now we need to help people when we can not take advantage of them. I would NOT recommend going their because obviously their not trust worthy.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. I had forgotten to bring my scan report, which they needed for my appt.and they allowed me to run home and get it to not have to reschedule me. Dr. Lopez-Viego was super friendly and even looked at my hurt hand which had nothing to do with my appt. AWESOME.yr

For someone that is regarded at every hospital in the area as “the best surgeon we have around” he has to be the worst doctor I’ve ever met in my life. Tries to rush me into surgery and when I tell him I need more explanation cancels the surgery and deems it too dangerous. Have been to his office to see him 3 times and the first time he said hi and bye and explained nothing to me. And the next two times had me come to the office just to not see me and have a nurse practictioner do his job instead. Absolutley unacceptable how such a renowned doctor can be so terrible with people skills and just overall care for his patients

I had a great experience with this office in November. This office is extremely clean and professional. Emily was a saint helping me get all my papers organized for my return back to work. Yes the office is busy but they always follow up with you before the day is done. Thank you again!

His RNP assistant is really good as well as Emily the call center rep, but the lady at the front desk is terrible, she can’t even do the check in, she ask the name and told me to have a sit and after 54 minutes, I wasn’t check in and now is late, i have to reschedule. I’m very disappointed! Waisted time!

Dr. Lopez Viego seems to be very knowledgeable, however dealing with his office staff is another matter. Read another patient’s review I am in total agreement with their criticism.
You can leave messages, but don’t ever expect a return call. Called 4 times and never got a call back addressing my concerns. Twice I got a call back acknowledging my call was received. Was told I would get a call from the office to answer my concerns. NEVER happened.
I have two splenic aneurysms. Dr. Viego said that he would take disk to hospital to try and open it there.
No return call. Over three weeks have gone by.
Based on sonogram, Dr. Lopez-Viego said CAT scan was in error. Never was able to see CAT scan, because he couldn’t open it. His diagnosis is based on incomplete data. This a potentially life threatening condition. I have been left in limbo. This is no way to treat a patient.

The god honest truth is Dr. Lopez-viego is simply an incredible physician. His office staff is great! The office is clean and professional. The staff follow all covid precautions. They are all professionals. Doing the best they can. I have referred my entire family and friends to Dr. Lopez Viego because I know for a fact that he and his amazing staff are looking out for me and my family. Thank you!

Dr. Viego & Gipsy take good care of my dad, they've been there from the start of my dad's surgery and continue to do an amazing job with him throughout the years. Very grateful for them. The office team are always pleasant and helpful as well.

Ok it sounds like your complaints are over the office. I have been going to both of these doctors for 30 years between Mueller and Lopez-Viego I have never had a problem with the doctors at all. The office staff has to put up with a lot because it is such a busy office, why? Because in this county you could not get better Vascular doctors! Yes I get frustrated but who doesn't? I highly recommend either doctor. Your doctors job is to save your life not be your best friend

I had no problems my surgery went perfect and the after care was excellent. Thank you Dr. Lopez and nurse Gypsy. ️

There's no zero starts but they should have it for this particular one. I called three days in a row to schedule a new patient appointment and no one returned my call. I called again and dialed 7 which is for hospitals and I reached a very unprofessional person, after I told her I had Ambetter she just said, oh we don't accept Ambetter and hung up on me. I'm glad they don't take my insurance though, she probably saved me from a very bad medical service as well.
