Dr Lugo is a brilliant and compassionate eye surgeon who has helped my young son see much better after a devastating illness. I highly recommend anyone with corneal or eye specialty needs to select Dr Lugo!

I tried to make an appointment for my wife. But the secretary didn't even let me explain to her. Just why I don't speak English well. My wife is losing vision and sometimes her eyes hurt from straining. But the secretary flatly told me not to know. I could attend there

Dr. Lugo is so friendly. I've had an extremely stressful cornea issue that multiple doctors have not been able to solve and the answer I keep getting is "we'll just watch it and see what happens" even though I have flare ups. Dr. Lugo took plenty of time to really look into the issue and explain what was going on. He also gave me a plan. So glad I found him and he's the doctor I'll be seeing!

He is the most caring, gentle doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Staff is efficient and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Lugo.

I just got off the phone with a female her name was Sandy I’m assuming she front desk. After asking her if they take my insurance, she said No. I was okay that fine how much is it with out insurance she tells me the price, than she proceeds with asking me “ what are you being seen for “ I explain, I had toxins burst in my eyes and I was referred to see a corneal specialist, she goes “ yeah the doctor won’t be able to see you” I asked why? She said “ um yeah cause he can’t” I asked her “why” her response “ cause he can’t”, then asked her so even if I’m paying out of pocket he still won’t see me? She then responded with “ anyways he also out of town on vacation” And I said “ okay what if wanna still make the appointment for he gets back from “ vacation” she goes “ hold on and hangs up on me. I’m so upset because she judged me automatically, there was no need for her attitude or the rudeness I was polite and respectful. Also I’m being referred to see corneal specialist and that’s what he’s is so I’m not understanding why he wouldn’t be able to see me even if I’m still paying out of pocket.

Dr. Lugo
Is a wonderful Dr.and very professional. I'm a caregiver of one of his patients. She's 96 yrs old and states she's been visiting him for over 10 years. He has always been very patient and understanding. He's always showed great concerns about her health, family, and eyes. It's been times even during the pandemic, and sometimes, before vacation via email or office visit, he makes her his priority with quick responses. His office has always been clean, and his staff is wonderful.
I love his passion for patient care as a Dr. May his works speak for It's self.
