Dr. Ismail is a life saver. My pain management physician was going to refer me to spine surgeon for surgery for severe Sciatica pain. I went to Dr. Ismail for 2nd opinion. After examining me Dr. Ismail told me I am not a candidate for spine surgery. He gave me a referral for physical therapy. After 5 physical therapy sessions, my pain went away. I am so grateful to Dr. Ismail for his accurate diagnosis and his sincere advise for not going for surgery. He said surgery should be last option for any patient. I strongly recommend Dr Ismail to all the patients that needs medical expertise in Neurology.

Dr. Ismail is an intelligent & compassionate doctor. Had to see a neurologist so I saw him & he listened to all my concerns & addressed them thoroughly and gave open dialogue for the best treatment options that I wanted. Office is also nice & so are all his staff. I would highly recommend him.

Awful. Sent by hand surgeon to rule out pinched nerve in neck. Dr.said if EMG didn’t show carpal tunnel then we do MRI. However when EMG did not show carpal tunnel, he still sent me back to hand surgeon. When I expressed my concerns about needing MRI, hand surgeon sent me BACK to Dr. Ismail. So basically two wasted appointments. Finally get MRI, but insurance denied and notified the office but the office never called me. Found out when I showed up to do MRI that it was denied. I just paid cash because I’m ready to find out if it’s in my neck or carpal tunnel. Meanwhile, I’ve had numbness in my hand for 2 months and severe nerve pain in my arm. Doctor wasn’t concerned and just said my strength is fine. Office staff is not friendly nor competent as evidence by lack of communication regarding MRI.

This is Doug Hosford (Charette's Husband) - I love Dr. Ismail he on the first visit diagnoses. He treats the whole person and talks - I experience tremors and have PTSD - with his help in one month I have greatly improved - I appreciate him very much.

Horrible organization at the front desk… I made an appointment 2 weeks and provided my insurance information with this call. DAY OF, the office calls 10 minutes before the appointment asking if I’m a walk-in patient with no insurance. I do have insurance. All I wanted was a refill for my seizure medication. Come to then find out after being charged my copay, they do not even prescribe my medication at this office to patients…. Tried contacting my previous neurologist afterwards 4: 15PM on a Friday afternoon and of course they were already out of the office with the answering service turned on. If I cannot get an emergency appointment with my previous office within 4 days (closed over the weekend), I may have a seizure due to this horrible error. I work Monday-Thursday and will have to call out last minute because of this…Safe to say…. Time to keep looking for a new office. This error shouldn’t be taken lightly as it may cause future medical emergencies. Not a secure feeling knowing this could happen at any time and I’m glad I am not continuing with treatment here.

Dr. Ismail is a great Doctor! He is very attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He listens to his patients and their concerns, and goes above and beyond to help/treat his patients, which is a quality a lot of doctors these days have lost. I was in your office for neurologist services with a referral from Dr. David Blum. That specified the diagnosis and the type of evaluation. He called me when the doctor saw me. The secretary did not go to the doctor. The referral later indicated that the person who did the evaluation did not come that day. When I returned for the second time, I saw the doctor again.that on this occasion they are doing the study indicated in the reference, they make me come twice
Because they want to charge for two consultations when everything could be resolved in the first visit all because of the inefficient secretary that's why I refused to pay again I explained it to the doctor he told me not to pay and now after two years I

After a bad experience that my elderly mother had with another neurologist doctor Ismail was God sent. Dr. Ismail is very knowledgeable, patient and has great bedside manner. If you are looking for a kind and knowledgeable neurologist I would highly recommend Dr. Ismail.
