Dr Shah is excellent and his medical assistant Zoe went above and beyond to make sure my daughter got her medicine covered by her insurance!

Made an appointment a week ago. The day before the appointment I received a text telling me the Appointment was at the office. So we drive up there only to find out it is a telehealth appointment. So we drive home. The appointment was for 9: 15am. It is now 1: 22pm still no call. I called at 10: 35 to find out what was going on and was told he is running "a little behind" and I should get a call shortly. Now it is 4hrs after appointment and STILL no call!
Just called the office and they say he did call!? I never received a call! If I had I would have continued with my day. Instead I'm sitting here waiting!

Amazing doctor but his staff are terrible. The office manager literally laughed at me over the phone when I expressed that I was upset I wasn’t notified I needed a follow up appointment to refill my meds. She shared that she “found it funny I saw this as their fault and that perhaps I should have made an appointment on time. ” I expressed that it was their responsibility because no one notified me I needed a check up for a refill and that now I was stressed. She was so rude. Who laughs as at a client? ! Seriously? ! Additionally, she also told me she is the office manager.how disappointing. I hung up on her and didn’t make an appointment because I refuse to be belittled, laughed at or treated that way especially when there are so many other options these days. The sad thing about this is that Dr. Shah’s office manager is the gatekeeper and first impression of potential clients and the opportunity for our community to have access to healthy mental healthcare. I cannot believe that an office manager or someone who treats people the way Pamela does is connected to a mental health facility in anyway. It’s truly dangerous to have someone treating people so poorly in such a vulnerable and sensitive space. Pamela, I wish you well and Dr. Shah, I’m happy to recommend recruiting firms to help you find better staffing. Maybe then I’ll return.

I came in a total mess and DR Nihal was patient, understanding and compassionate. He explained the medications to me and made me feel very confident in my new medicines. I’m glad I found DR Nihal he seems to genuinely care.

Easy to talk to. He LISTENS to every single thing you say. I've been seeing him for 6 years and would not change Psychiatrist for anything

One of the kindest and caring Psychiatrist that I've ever had the privilege of having. He really listens to you and genuinely wamts to help. I wish all Physicians had his compassion and caring bedside manner. A true diamond in the rough.

The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they really need to get the office staff situation figured out. Dr Shah is great but good luck ever calling and getting someone on the line. Called again to try and schedule an appointment and got an after hours recording at 4: 30 when they close at 5.

Dr. Shah shows so much empathy for his patients. I have been seeing him since 2014 and can honestly say I think he saved my life. I was in a really dark place a few times and had to go to ECT for help, along with doctor visits. I have been to many psychiatrists through the years and as long as he is still practicing I will never go to anyone else. Thank you so much for giving me light at the end of the tunnel.
