Dr. Sissi Cossio -- Doctor of Pediatric Endocrinology, Margate FL

I would give her zero stars if I could but need at least 1 to post a review so here goes. My daughter's was under Dr
Cossio's care for almost 2 years when her practice phased out endocrinology. We waited for her to land somewhere and visited Pediatrix Medical Group for our 6 month follow up visit, for continuity of care. Dr. Cossio had all of her past records from the previous practice and we had our follow up. She ordered repeat labs and discussed the medication she prescribed between practices. Six months later, I received a bill that was more than double what I've ever paid after my insurance review. I questioned the charges with my insurance because no one at Pediatrix Medical Group, including Dr Cossio, would return my messages. The insurance told me the charge was appropriate for a new patient visit. Understandable as a doctor provides a higher level of service for a new patient, including a comprehensive history and physical, that we did not get. Bottom line is find a new doctor unless you are okay paying for services you didn't receive.

Absolutely unprofessional. I had a follow up Telemarket phone call. After 2 hours waiting they have Never called! Next day they have told me that they don't have my son lab results. But when I called them to schedule an app they said they have them! Dr. Cossio is horrible. She should loose her Doctor license

After two years of looking for an Endocrinologist I finally found Dr. Cossio which was referred by a friend & I can see why. I had a Great experience with Dr. Cossio, she explained everything to me in a very detailed manner. She is also kind and friendly person. She always takes the time with us. She does not rush you in and out.expect a wait because she takes time with her patients and really listens to your concerns. The complete staff is very professional & helpful. I am so impressed with her. She is a professional and humanitarian. Both of my kids are under her care.
I Highly recommended her.

Dr. Cossio is amazing. She has been my daughter's endo since her first diagnosis at age 4, my daughter is 15 now. Dr. Cossio is caring and compassionate, she will listen to parents concerns and will absolutely help you with any hurdles. The longer waiting times means she is not running from one patient to another rushing to get more patients; she does spend time with the patient and ensures their health needs are met and taken care off. I have stayed with Dr. Cossio through her transition to a new office because she is a great, compassionate doctor.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Cossio! She has been amazing and with us since my son was diagnosed 3 years ago at 2.5 years old. She greets him with hugs, engages in conversation with him, and most importantly keeps him safe! She has always answered and called back, anytime we need her. She has always been there! We love you Dr. Cossio! Thank you for all you do and for keeping my sweet boy safe and making his health a Priority

Dr. Cossio has been our son's endo for 10 years. She is wonderful! Compassionate and caring. She really looks out for his overall health and spends the time needed to make sure she covers everything thoroughly. She has always been available after hours when have needed her for emergencies.

Dr. Cossio has been my sons Endocrinologist for over 10 years. She has educated us on type one diabetes and how to manage it. She is always available to us when we are in need. We trust her and look forward to our visits with her. She is the best.

Dr. Cossio is the best honestly she listens to your concerns and explain everything so clear, she actually cares about her patients I
love her my daughter (her patient) loves her I honestly wouldn't change her.

Dr. Cossio is horrible, do not waste your time.she is not willing to cooperate, has no manners and doesn't really care about her patients.she also has someone by the name of Julianna working with her who is just as equally rude as her. DO NOT BOOK WITH DR. COSSIO, look for someone else.
