Dr Cohen is exceptional in every way. Personable, professional and very easy to understand. He explains a procedure so that any can be fully aware of what to expect. From the time you walk into his office until you leave you have that well cared for feeling. Thanks to Dr Cohen and his entire staff.

Dr cohen Is Extremely professional, makes you feel comfortable and takes time to listen and explain. He is Not dismissive of any information you tell him that may be relevant, he was happy to hear it. I went to another Retina specialist prior for a issue im having and went over my current meds im on for a ear infection and that Dr said ear had nothing to do with eye issue YET Dr cohen right away went over the meds and noted that specific med is know to cause eye issue in patients that already have central serious. I went from a i have no idea to dr cohen & Thank God I did.

My retina specialist in Cincinnati referred me to Dr. Cohen for an eye injection during my stay in Florida. This was my first visit with him. I was impressed with the office staff, including the receptionist and the tech, Ennis, who did an outstanding job of preparing me for the eye injection. Dr. Cohen had a calming, patient friendly manner and performed the procedure very satisfactorily. I found the office visit to be extremely positive. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

The staff, the technicians, and of course Dr. Cohen were very professional, kind and very informative, the staff made sure that everything was sanitized, before I sat down and all equipment was cleaned. As a person who works in a doctors office, I was very impressed. I look forward to my follow up appointment knowing I will be taken care of in every way.

Dr. Cohen and the staff are excellent. I am impressed with the the "Techs" who do all of the eye tests, photos of the eye, etc. I asked one young man what kind of training he received to work with a Retinal Specialist. He said "it is all on the job training". KUDOS

After I was diagnosed with a Macular hole I carefully researched the eye surgeons in my county and chose Dr. Steven Cohen because of his impressive credentials and because he was highly recommended by a former patient. I could not have made a better choice! Dr. Cohen has a caring, reassuring personality along with his knowledge and skill. My surgery went smoothly and my recovery has been quicker than anticipated. I could not have had a better outcome. I recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone needing a retina specialist. He is outstanding.

I have worked in the ophthalmology field for 25 years. In my opinion, Dr. Cohen is the best retinal physician I have seen. He is extremely knowledgeable and can explain complex medical problems so they are easily understood. In addition, the office is efficient and the staff is will trained and considerate.

The staff is excellent and the service is excellent. Whenever my father has problem. I can get an early appointment when needed.

A couple of years ago, I developed a partial retinal tear. Dr. Cohen performed a scleral buckle procedure to repair the tear. Unfortunately, scar tissue developed on the wrong side of the site. The doctor informed me of this, and the potential for failure, which happened soon afterwards. This resulted in a complete detachment, which could have severely damaged my vision. Dr. Cohen performed a victrectomy on the eye. Thanks to his skill, the operation turned out to be a success. Slowly, over the course of about a year, my eyesight improved even beyond my expectations, given the condition of the eye before.
I also have to mention how impressed I was with Dr. Cohen's "bedside manner". In all my dealings, he was pleasant, patient, encouraging and informative. This demeanor extended to the staff as well. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Cohen as my surgeon. Thanks to everyone at Retina Vitreous Associates, and especially Dr. Cohen for saving my eyesight.
