Regarding the bill for the service, it was a scam with my dental insurance. I do not recommend this clinic because they deceived me with my bill.

The best dentist in the world, the most professional with the most loving personality. Her team is the best my Family has worked with our entire lives, we love them all.

Great customer service affordable plans excellent service friendly environment. Staff were amazing family oriented. Treatment plan was well explained and well educated. From front staff Julissa to Dr. Teresa and assitant.

At this office, they really do care about their patients. In the modern world, it's very hard to find medical professionals who care.the staff is great. The office is extremely clean. Everyone should consider this as a good dentist to use.

Beware! The office staff (Front Desk / Billing) “Maury” is the absolute worst! My wife & I have Full Dental Insurance Coverage & at the time of service, we had not used any benefits for the year. Our dental insurance information was provide when the appointment was made weeks ahead via telephone & again on the appointment day.

On 6/27/23, at checkout we were charged upfront $2,310.00 through the Lending Club for our deep cleanings to take place on 7/3/23. We were advised that was the amount the insurance did not cover & we had to pay to have our deep cleanings done 2 weeks later.

Two weeks later, we received the Benefit Statements from our Dental Insurance (TheStandard) & to our surprise we were covered for all the rendered services. The claims were paid with a very minor member responsibility for the deep cleaning. Also the “Chemo Agents” - Procedure Code D4381, that the dental office told us were “not covered” by our insurance & we had to pay upfront are indeed covered by the insurance. We were unnecessarily charged $2,310.00 upfront for no reason other than laziness & greed from this office.

We called our Dental Insurance & advised the dentist office charged us upfront for the services (almost $2,000) over the amount we actually owe. We asked them if the dentist office can do that being we had provided our dental insurance information before the services were rendered. The agents from the insurance advised “The dental office is NOT allowed to charge us that amount because they are under contract”. We were advised to call the dentist office & request a refund immediately.

We have been calling the dentist office since 7/20/23 for the refund. Today is 8/18/23 & the full refund has not yet been issued. Our insurance provider advised the DOS 6/27 payment to the office cleared on 7/19 & the DOS 7/3 payment to the office cleared on 7/28.

There is NO EXCUSE for patients to be charged an exaggerated amount of money upfront when we have full dental insurance coverage. Additionally, they force us to waste time calling the office every week to process a refund for an amount that should have never been charged to begin with.

They say Maury is the one that handles the refund & she is in the Tamiami office. I call that office & I’m told she is not available, she will call me back. As of today Maury has never called us back regarding the refund. Maury has horrible customer service skills & when speaking to her she giggles as if this situation is funny or a joke. She has no respect toward the patients or apologizes for the inconvenience she has caused for weeks to have our financial responsibility corrected (their mistake).

We had to speak with “Suni” for help. Suni has been great & actually returns our calls, however as of today we still do not have our full owed refund. Lending Club told us yesterday the Dentist office processed the refund incorrectly on 8/9/23 causing a glitch in the system & it’s being handled by another department to have the refund correctly reprocessed. We had to file a dispute for the incorrect charges with Lending Club & have filed complaints against the dental office through our Dental Insurance & the Florida Board of Dentistry.

Bottom line, Monica (hygienist) & Dr. Bello-Burgos are amazing. We are leaving this office & seeking to continue our dental care with another dental provider due to the unethical & incompetent service Maury / Billing Dept.has provided us.

This post / review is long to provide all the facts & to avoid the office from calling us back with some poor excuse for their mishandling. They’ve been constantly placing the blame on The Lending Club when they were the ones that did an incorrect upfront overcharge & then an incorrect refund.

If you are charged upfront & have insurance coverage, go to another office. Unless you want to waste your time getting the run around after calling multiple times to get your refund, this office is not for you.

Her son who works there is on fb for taking video of himself torturing a possum who is crying out and posting it on instagram. Don’t spend a penny here where this sicko works.

Great experience, extremely professional, and they truly care about there clients. Dr. Bello-Burgos is amazing. Monica Fernandez is a fantastic dental hygienist.
