I just finished treatment with Dr. Thornley after seeing her for a couple of years. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a neurologist. She is very knowledgeable, thorough and cares about her patients. She helped put me back on a healthy track through a series of tests and treatments and I’m very thankful!

Dr Thornley is VERY thorough, asking questions and actually listening to the answers. She took her time with my husband, making sure to leave no stone unturned. She has very recently brought on new office staff who (even though she’s still in training) is very nice. If you long for medical care like it used to be I wouldn’t hesitate to schedule an appointment with Elite Neurology

It is interesting to me that Dr. Thornley keeps saying how much she values kindness in her practice. She is rude and difficult to work with. God forbid if you call and she answers. She answers with a rude tone and makes you feel like you are a bother. She always says, this needs to be quick because I have another patient. Even when you are in the office for your scheduled appointment, she repeatedly says during your appointment that she has other patients and needs to hurry. She refuses to let you ask questions while she is going over your results and says don’t interrupt or ask until she is done. It’s like she has OCD and if you interrupt her flow she can’t handle it. She won’t touch you without putting on weird lunch lady gloves and other protective gear. I can understand that to a point but she takes forever to get everything on and takes the time for your appointment. She only works until 1 pm and that makes it difficult for patients who have a normal schedule. I definitely don’t appreciate how she has made me feel over the last year. Each encounter has been weirdly uncomfortable and rude. I confronted her on the phone finally to let her know how she made me feel rushed and devalued and she acted like she didn’t care and told me I could go see another doctor. Well not only will I do that but I also decided it was time to write a review… which she kept asking me to do. I actually held off writing a review before because I didn’t have anything good to say, but now I felt that the treatment was over the top and should let others know. Perhaps she will take this to heart finally and get a new perspective on how to treat patients. Hopefully she doesn’t respond to this with another rambling response that makes no sense as she did on other unfavorable reviews.

Very unfriendly staff. Person who took my new patient appointment is very unlikable, attitude problem. Don’t have any idea how good Dr. Thornley is because her staff made it so difficult to hold my appointment. Without letting me know proactively, she unilaterally decided to cancel my appointment three days before the scheduled appointment because I informed them that their credit card policy quite possibly did not comply with payment card industry rules but it’s okay with me. Tried to help them and they, evidently, took offense. Great reason for driving patient income away and getting bad reviews, huh?

I had made a consultation appointment and was told to come in on 12/14 so when I got there they told me I never had an appointment that day and to just come back on 12/28… my first appointment went okay she did listen to me but afterwards if I would call the office she would sound irritated at my questions and would basically rush me to say my question that she didn’t have time to sit on the phone. When I called to tell her my insurance was changing her response was “who is this I have a patient so it needs to be quick” so honestly I think I’m glad my insurance is changing because I dodged the bullet with her. Save your time & money go find a more professional doctor!

I called today to schedule a consultation for my daughter and was told they have an appt on 1/15/24 at 8 am. Then told me she needed to put me on hold to assist another patient which I understood. I got a call so I needed to disconnect. I called back and she proceeds to tell me how she can’t help me. Begins to say “I don’t know how to say this but we will not be scheduling an appointment. I asked, Is the Dr no longer accepting new patients or just my daughter? She says yeah we’re no longer accepting new patients. Coooool.

Dr Thornley was very thorough and professional. She explained everything clearly and offered options to consider. I would heartily reccomend her to anyone who needs to evaluate their concerning condition.

"Where patients come first" is not only a slogan of Doctor Thornley's practice but it is how she runs her practice. I have been a patient for 4 years and at every visit, Dr. Thornley makes me feel like I come first. She always respects my appointment time with very little wait time. She is kind, caring and attentive to my feedback. I never feel rushed and she is always asking if I have any more questions. More doctors should be like her. Thank you Dr. Thornley for the first class care.

I love Dr Thornley, she is knowledgeable and thorough and very professional. She took time to try and alleviate my migraines before medicating and I really appreciated her integrity in not allowing drug reps, I felt like I could trust her more. Dr Thornley's administrator, Mia, is fantastic, I can't recommend this practice highly enough.

Dra. Thornley explains everything in details and make sure that I am comfortable to the medications as well as to the procedure that I will undertake. She patiently answers all of my queries and connected me to group that will help me understand my situation better.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Thornley. My first two calls to other neurologists were not very pleasant. I called my insurance company to get a list of neurologists that were covered. She was at the top of the list. Mia was so nice and talked me through the process. Upon arriving I was greeted with a big smile by Mia who again was nice as could be. I did not wait long for Dr. Thornley to come into the exam room. She then proceeded to give me the longest most thorough exam I have ever had before. While also stopping along the way to see how i was doing. Recent head trauma, anxiety and PTSD can make these visits rough but she was great. She made some more recommendations of testing and natural medications to try. She would also like to see me be able to ween from some prescriptions that could make my cognitive issues worse. At check out, Mia was again a ray of sunshine to help my anxiety switch and ease up. After I came home, I went to her website to figure out how to leave a review. I stumbled onto her section of the patient/physician relationship and how it has changed so much and she is doing her best to get back there. I was in tears by the end. It feels really good to have someone want to really help you. Thank you so very much.
