Drake Midtown, Lake Mary FL

I’ve lived here for a whole year and loved it! I was renting the top floor pool view and it was an amazing view, the neighbors were friendly and kind. Drakes midtown it’s in a shopping plaza which is super convenient! Walking distance! Daniela was very friendly and kind since I walked in the building for the first time, whenever I had a question or concern Daniela replies right away and took care of it! For maintenance Ubal was very friendly and kind and very professional. I loved everything about drakes, Also! Ellen is very sweet! She always have good spirits! I was happy at my stay at drakes! I had to move back to Orlando if not I would have re leased again!

Put in a service request which was taken care of very quickly. Very professional maintenance staff. Very reliable!

Great place to live, it is safe at all times. Very modern apartment and all the amenities are kept up to date. The staff at the office is great as well. Would recommend to move here.

Ilka was excellent, and I was equally impressed by the location, unit floorplans, and amenities. It is definitely on my short list when the time comes to lease more forward.

Terrible customer service sucks. I waited 20 mins just to be acknowledged and was told to come back at a different time (a hr later). LIka had just finished a tour and proceeded to have a 15 plus mins conversation knowing I was waiting on a tour. Not very welcoming and I was truly considering this place as a new home but this situation definitely changed my mind. Taking my business somewhere else.

Ilka was the agent that helped us with our moving, she was wonderful and was always there to help whenever needed. The moving process was straightforward and easy. Great and enjoyable place to live.

I cannot say enough good things about Ilka! She’s bilingual so she would also be helpful for people that their English is not that good, being central Florida with the great amount of hispanic people. I say this because my mom doesn’t speak English and needed to know all the process.
Also, Ilka is very empathetic and knowledgeable and was very helpful with all of our moving process that could have been very stressful. Thank you again!

If you like sleeping past 7: 30 AM this is not the place for you. The apartment itself is very nice but everything around it is not worth the over 2k I pay to live here. Trash trucks come anywhere from 7: 30-8: 00 AM (weekdays and sometimes Saturdays) and leaves broken glass and the sweet smell of trash in its wake. This is also done in the main courtyard, what a classy look. Sounds like a demolition derby. Don’t believe me? Just drive over one weekday morning at 7: 30. Perhaps using tenants’ over 2k in rent to invest in more than three dumpsters might allow sanitation to visit maybe twice a week and not nearly everyday. If it’s not trash trucks it’s landscapers who use the leaf blower the entire time they’re here (1.5 hours approximately). Couple these two things with screaming children in the hallways and heavy footed upstairs neighbors, you have the perfect triad of reasons to buy noise canceling headphones. Front office staff do nothing to better your experience and get frustrated when you need to speak with them.

Front office and management is extremely rude and self centered. They act like you are bothering them if you need help or ask for help. For the money rent some where else with a front office / management team.

Drake Midtown is perfect. Like living at a resort. Ellen was fantastic with assisting on our application and making a smooth transition from house to apartment living. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Great place to start a new beginning.
