Duck Donuts, Daytona Beach FL

I usually always order for our unit at work however two weeks ago the donuts were bad and uncooked. I called and asked to speak to a MANAGER due to our donuts not being cooked inside. I was passed to a lady who took my name down, and said they would replace the 6 donuts. She stated they have no way to know if they are fully cooked or not so sometimes “it happens”. No problem. However today I showed up, and was met with the owner who was snappy and acted as though I made the situation up. She said I should’ve spoke to her like I even know who she is? They are clearly lacking communication. She proceeded to whisper something about me to one of her coworkers. Bizzare way to treat a regular customer.

I do love this place but today was not so pleasant.
The man up front was doing his best taking orders and making drinks, definitely staying on top of it!
Unfortunately the two girls making donuts was to busy talking about their personal life in front of us all customers and could not stay focused on the task. My sandwiches were done way before my donuts making them hard and cold and they still messed up on our food order that had a major allergy in it that I stressed about. Yes she fixed it but she definitely was not paying attention.my order could of been done on time and still fresh if not for them standing in place chatting i waited almost 30 minutes if not more waiting on 1 box of donuts and 3 sandwiches and yall where not as busy as I've seen before, it also made the Atmosphere stale and unwelcoming as we all where just watching them talk. I also feel they need to read the food and safety handbook as wiping your gloves on your pants and shirt then going back to touch peoples food is wrong as well as coughing and not covering your mouth as you stand in front of food (they each did one) As a food business owner myself I feel these employees will bring you down as their work ethics and customer skills is something they lack. Despite being a national chain, this location has a friendly and charming atmosphere. Staff were attentive and worked quickly. Everything, including DELICIOUS donuts, was made to order. Will definitely visit again!

I’ve absolutely loved every duck donuts I’ve ever been to, and this one is no different. The staff can certainly seem a bit impatient sometimes, but I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my donuts or coffee

Plenty of different donuts to choose from. We got the strawberry shortcake and chocolate as well.

This place has delicious, made to order, customizable donuts. I wish there was one closer in Orlando.

You've got your generic cold when u buy it dunkin and Krispy kreme donuts and then you have hot out of oven duck donuts. You will never go back to DD OR KK. DUCK-D ALL THE WAY!

My husband and I were heading home and passed through Tanger Outlets. We were dying for some coffee and found this wonderful coffee/donut shop. The coffee was hands down the best coffee I ever had. It was so delicious! I had ordered a iced white chocolate latte and my husband ordered a hot americano which he said was the best coffee he had too! I wish we didn’t live far because we’d be going here regularly if we could.
It’s definitely worth the try next time we’re in the area we’re trying their donuts! They looked so delicious!

We got the build your own half dozen for the first time and I will def be back! The donuts were still warm even though we door dashed them and boy are they tasty! Thank you!

Disappointed with this place. I came by recommendation since my sister commented that the donuts were super.it turns out that they can't take my order because they don't have change of any kind.not being able to buy the donuts and it was not for lack of money but for options to solve customer service. I do not recommend it

Beautiful, amazing, sweet, and helpful staff! I wanted a delivery to go to my friend but I was unable to go myself and they are being so kind and taking it for me AFTER THE STORE CLOSES! They just go that far above and beyond over there. Go and get their happy donuts and leave them a fat tip!

I preordered 2 dozen doughnuts online on 8/24/2023 at 9 pm. They were ordered for Saturday 8/26/2023. When I realized on Friday 8/25/2023 that I accidentally ordered them for the wrong day, I called immediately and asked to speak with someone so I could change the date to 8/27/2023. The girl I spoke with told me I didn’t have an order there and that she couldn’t locate my order. I assured her I did in fact order $51.01 worth of doughnuts and I have email validation. She still proceeded to tell me I was wrong and I had no order. I became extremely frustrated and asked to speak to anyone other than her, because she didn’t really seem like she knew what she was doing or talking about. She informed me, she was the only manager on duty. I said said “ Wow. However that may be, I need to speak to someone other than you because I am paying a lot of money and I am calling the day before you make them, and I need to know that they will be made for the new time I am asking for or I will just take a refund. ” She said she was calling the owners. I remained on hold for that time she spoke with them. She then told me that when you order online, they don’t see it until the day of ordering and that they would fix it in the morning. She said the owners would be in and handle it. I called the next morning and spoke with a gentleman. I asked if he knew that I needed the doughnuts for tomorrow and he said yes, they’re right here. So I asked if they made the doughnuts and he retracted that statement and said no. I told him I didn’t want old doughnuts and that I called Friday to change the date. I go to pick them up today and the doughnuts were in fact old and not fresh. I have ordered them online before and never had an issue. Today when I picked up my doughnuts the bottom of the box was cold and heavy. When I went to serve the doughnuts they have already crumbled inside the box, completely falling apart, and were sticking to the bottom of it. I have never been so disappointed with them in my life. I always rave to everybody I know. About how good and how fresh they are. Just to get old product and not up to any standard whatsoever. What I got today was absolute trash and I paid $51.01.

Usually a good experience but while everyone got nice hot fresh doughnuts I watched mine sit for 10 minutes getting cold and then I asked about why that happened and all I got was a "oh I don't know" I will not be going back

Very delicious donuts. Staff is very friendly and kind. If you are in the area definitely stop by Duck Donuts and try their homemade donuts. The do have breakfast donuts as well.
