Duval County Tax Collector - Roosevelt Branch, Jacksonville FL

The employees and their manager do not understand anything. I swear to God, they are taking their pensions that they do not deserve. They are rude and unfit to work in this place. I do not know who is the idiot who hired them and their Filipino manager, who does not resemble a human being, who is very rude and impolite, may God curse her. Let them all go to hell, along with their stupid, impudent Filipino manager. God bless them because I will never come to this filthy place.

Mr Jj Brown went above and beyond the call of duty for me today. I had a lot of obstacles in having my suspended license reinstated and he helped me through every single step. He was extremely patient. He was extremely kind. I was there after closing time we were still on hold waiting on my SR 22 to be emailed this man did not have to do the things that he did, and it meant the world to me. He made me feel like I was a person and not just a number and I did not leave that building without my license. Thank you very much, Mr. Brown

Karen was the sweetest and so so helpful. She helped me become a Florida resident and had me laughing the whole time!

After being sent back to duval by clay county. I have to give props to Ms. Nakisha, Sandra and Whitney for the great customer service and handling the situation calmly and professionally. Great work ladies yall made my day.

The rude nasty lady that was at station 5 on January 2nd 2024 @12: 30 Melinda mharray was very rude and distasteful. She had a very bad attitude and would not clarify what she meant. She was constantly rushing us and was not responding with adequate communication or response.

Charmon was a ROCK STAR. I moved to FL and needed to transfer a car title, get a drivers license, register to vote, get my registration and then pick out a license plate with a vanity number.
All my needs could have pushed anybody over the edge! Charmon stayed happy and sweet the entire time! GREAT team member, you’re lucky to have her.

Two great experiences in one day! Milta was the second happy, friendly and super knowledgeable team member that served me in the same day!
I returned in the afternoon with additional title information to transfer a vehicle to Florida. It involved a Power of Attorney for a family member and was a little more involved than normal. Milta took her time with me, made sure everything was clear to me being new from out of state, made
sure everything was good to go.

Whitney was the nicest customer service agent in dealing with my new drivers license and car license plates. She was kind, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She made my time at the DMV very pleasant! Thank you for having such great staff!

This is the best DMV!

Went there yesterday with no appointments and I expect to wait for a couple of hours but i was wrong, when I enter the door the lady at the reception was nice enough to let me know that i can go to the window 1 (i was shocked) I was not expecting a quick assistance from DMV. I am so thankful that we have this in Duval because this makes our life so much easier lol instead of going to downtown we have our own DMV and they are all so friendly in there! The place was clean and they are very quick and efficient! I will continually tell how wonderful this DMV is! GOOD JOB!

I paid my property tax and vehicle regs at the Roosevelt branch of the Duval county tax collectors office this morning. I was served by Marianne Rogers at station 6, and she was the absolute nicest, most courteous person one could ever ask for. In my 40 plus years of paying taxes this was the best experience I have ever had, bar none.

I had to replace my ID and Charmon or Charmaine (forgot her name) was amazing in getting my ID replace it was no hassle at all. This is my go to location.
