This place is amazing! I was struggling for years to find a comfortable environment where I could finish my education under no pressure.this place provides a structure that is manageable for many situations.this place did it for me with the help of the loyal and dedicated teachers.it is a very calm place with great energy! Highly recommend!

Great place to come to learn if you need to obtain your ABE/GED. They also offer ESOL Classes if you need to spruce up on your English. They have Day and Night classes as well. Highly recommend them.

This place is horrible. I started going there in the beginning of February of this year 2019 and left at the end of April because I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to go to another school and finish somewhere else. I am 18 years old and I was treated like a child over there. I was constantly being watched by one of the office women there. I left class to go to the office to talk to someone about changing my schedule to night instead of daytime and The lady was busy. While I was waiting I saw one of my friends and had a conversation with him and she barged in and yelled at me in-front of everyone. She called out my name and told me to go to class and i was so embarrassed. She said I was supposed to ask permission from the teacher which is true for people 17 and under but not 18+ which she knew I was 18. If your 18 you can go where you want and my teacher and everyone else that works there even told me it was ok. Another incident happened one day she saw me walking and called me to come here and she told me I wasn’t allowed to hang out with this one person at school that I made friends with just because he was 2 years younger than me. She actually told me I wasn't allowed to talk to my friend because of his age that’s insane and unnecessary. All the teachers favored others. The older people in my class like age 30s - 40s would be on their phones and listening to music but when I did, I was told to put it away while I’m over here watching my fellow classmates on their devices at the same time she’s telling me to put mine away. Out of school when we all got out the main office women would drive around in her car and watch us on the streets, she basically stalked us. This is so long but I hated this place so much I had to go into detail.

This was the start of my Quist for a better life. I did fantastic, even though I did not think that I could. I now have a 4 year degree in business; moreover, I landed a great job. Thank you to all at East Area Adult.
