East Bay Rehabilitation Center reviews
4 Two and a half years ago, our family faced a challenging journey when my dad had a stroke. After heavy duty amounts of research of nursing and care facilities in the Tampa, Florida area, I found East Bay. East Bay came with high praises, and they exceeded them. The caring staff stepped in with compassion, guiding us through this tough time with their dedication.
Their concern for my dad's well-being was clear in every interaction. They greeted him warmly and made sure he got his regular time at the gym and social circles (which he may have hesitated to admit, but he loved). Therapists, nurses, and staff worked seamlessly, creating a personalized plan for my dad's needs—both physical and mental. Their patience and encouragement brought comfort to him.
For top-notch care with genuine compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend East Bay Rehabilitation. The facility itself is well-located with a pretty outdoor courtyard that my dad loved. Thank you for being the beacon of hope and healing our family needed.
Sincerely,
Pat Healy and Family
Despite the positive reviews and advertising on television. An employee I'm acquainted with has been at this facility for some time. They describe the current working environment as extremely toxic and intolerable. This employee recently experienced criticism and threatening intimidation tactics within their department. There is constant employee turnover, especially with the supervisors and administration. This is not only bad for the workers but no doubt negatively effects the residents and patients. This facility and it's corporate affiliate seem more concerned with profit over necessity. I would definitely not recommend anyone work for this company until some form of significant improvement occurs.
My mother stayed at Eastbay for 6 weeks. The day after she got home I had to take her to the emergency room where she was diagnosed with COVID and passed 2 days later. Not only did Eastbay fail to protect her from COVID now they have a lien on her estate for $1628.63
