Easterlin Park reviews
18Beautiful shady park with a lake. The disc golf course winds its way around the lake and through the trees, Bird life is plentiful with colorful hawks watching us toss discs.
This park is beautiful! There are many trails to do here. When I went, the trails were closed, but I saw that there were many trail options. There were many little geese and pelicans and beautiful palm trees, along with a beautiful playground and area for children. It says that it cost money but entry for non campers doesn’t. I saw a huge iguana on a tree, that didn’t move. I suspect that it is either dead or sleeping, hopefully sleeping. Great place to visit in good weather for a few peaceful nature-revolved hours.
Nice park. Feels private and shelters provide electricity and water. Awesome place for a family get together or company activity.
Ok campground, nasty bathrooms.someday the new bathrooms will be done.excellent location.great dog oark a couple blocks away.my dog likes it here
An stunning park with a natural feel and a very beautiful walk around. You can camp, explore trails, relax at the benches and pond, and even use facilities.
I did a photoshoot here recently and the dog friendly atmosphere and beautiful trees and animals really made the shoot feel special
Great disc golf course.
Can't wait to some of the holes are repaired and up-to-date, highly recommend
Gorgeous park and sites with lots of shade! It feels like you're in the middle of a jungle! I enjoyed my stay, but take note the park management is a little uptight & their rules are strictly enforced.
Over the phone and in person best experience of any Park we’ve ever been. Ultra accommodating. Clean park overall and wonderful neighbors, both long term and short term. Great location to jump in your car and explore the Fort Lauderdale area!
Beautiful park with nice sized camping spots. Roads are a little narrow in places but shouldn't be a problem for anyone. There are many activities for people and it can get pretty busy I'm the evenings and weekends. Camping rates are $35 off season and $45 in season but there is a 13% tax and no discount for extended stays. Very close to 95 and the RxR tracks but the noise isn't unbearable as it's usually the tri-rail which last less than 90 seconds. There are 2 or 3 longer trains that go by, but they never bothered me. If you need complete silence to sleep, this may not be the perfect place, but inside the camper it's muffled a bit. I truly enjoyed my 6 months here.
Friendly, beautiful trees with tunes if Shade, you forget about the city and the traffic for a while, a little piecevof Paradise
Fantastic disc golf leagues here play on half the days of the week, wonderful fun people to hang out with. I go at least once a week. Cheers
Very peaceful park. Love the ducks, squirrels, and other wildlife. My grandson loves the playground and walking around the park.
Great people nice clean the camp grounds are well keeped plenty of parking great place for a outdoor party b'day cook out with family and friends check it out you won't be disappointed be safe healthy and happy God Bless
One of my favorite Broward County Parks! DiscGolf, Camping, & Biking. Week days there are no fees - and weekends it’s $1.50 per person!
Beautiful park with campground. We stayed at the campground in 2020 and 2022. Always a pleasure to camp there with all the services needed. Only thing missing is a laundry but it seems that will be coming soon with a new building that is under construction.
There is a playground that kids love and it is situated about 20 minutes from the beaches.
Little gem in the middle of the city.
My partner and I always love coming to this park // Campground, we've been coming here for years now with our little furry guy Bryson and it's always been a pleasure but even more so yesterday 03/03/22 due to the fact that we had the absolute pleasure of meeting KELVIN the Operations Manager of the Park and Recreation.his approach and customer service was nothing shy of phenomenal he understood us and made us feel so welcome and at ease and because of that is why we'll continue to keep coming back! Kelvin is by far a very valuable employee to have on Staff and we can't say enough about his hospitality, Thank you Kelvin we look forward to seeing you again soon!
I saw a bunch of geese and fed some of them, but there is 4 of them that run at you and have seen them attack like 5 or 6 different people. + all the squirrels. Really nice place
The park is good.for motorhomes not for tent camping.
They repetitve telling me there is no refunds after you pay for your reservation over the phone and in person (must be done 15 in advance) do you know why they told me that?
* Unbelievable close to the train tracks
* Also just behind the HWY, a lot noize at night. They know that, I told I was going to use a tent and reserve for 7 days before I saw the camping and they never mentioned anything or the web site says the area have a lot of noise polution
(I should Google satellite view 1st)
* Mosquitos everywhere, specially they give me the spot closest to the river (only one available!? But I saw more empty sites) they cold offer, even if I have to change later.
1st night and I'm looking like I returned from the war and have not sleept for a week. I was there for work and fun. Can't do anything because the lack of sleep.
* The camping is not proper set up for tent camping, (specially in FL where it rains a lot, a sand or gravel box its necessay to elevate and drain the water from the floor of the tent, otherwise the tent will be in the mud/water for the entire time) I dont mind if Im in the forest but not acceptable for $50 at night.
Car camping it's illegal! (Include your nice Toyota Sienna van) I dont think they know what a overland vehicle is. (I think they stop in time) THIS PARK its set up for RV's. Adventure camping, travelers, cycletourism, moto campers, go somewhere else, specially for $50 at night to set up the tent in the ground, in the mud, noise and no shade.
