Ride was great! Details a little scarce and BYOR.if you want to tie up at any spring, better bring you a rope.we rented 3 kayaks and 1 had a skinny string we attached and then used life jackets to attach our boats.we couldn't enjoy the spring worried our boats were down river.beautiful place though.

This review is for the rental location only. The creek was great and the downed limbs/trees weren't as bad as other reviews say. But we got there to rent a kayak for my friends and I brought my own inflatable-paddle-board. When we were at the counter paying there was another customer that was asking about the price of something that had apparently changed and the sighn still had it at the original price and there was an old man behind the counter that started being extremely rude and hostile towards her and apparently he's the owner, and said he doesn't "work" there because he hates people. Yeah I def will not be going back, also they don't even help u carry the kayaks or anything. You pay and then your on your own from there.

Love this place. Be sure to get reservations because they sell out in the summer. Also it is cash only so stop by an ATM. The hurricane did major damage to the forest along the creek but it is slowly coming back. The springs along the creek are just as beautiful as ever. Make sure to allow plenty of time to stop at each one. I'd recommend getting there before 9 am. The paddle for the last spring with stops is about 3.5 hours so be ready for a long but fun paddle.

Awesome, quiet little river experience. Even saw this elusive guy. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. Call ahead and make reservations. We'll be back!

Econfina Creek Canoe Livery is the place to go if you want to take a trip down the glorious Econfina in Northwest Florida. The folks are friendly and will fill you in on anything you need to know. Great place.

Very easy process to rent kayaks - beautiful trip down the river & the company was there to pick us up when we landed. Took about 3.5 hours at a leisurely pace and a few stops at the springs.

Always the best place to cool off from a hot day. Clear water everyone that visits are nice and honest people.

I just wanted to Express the sorrow I feel for the family I've known many years.i feel bad but I feel worse you all losing "Tractor Willie ". The Lord got a good one. He will be greatly missed.he was such a great person he didn't deserve to die like this

This place is a gem its public access just bring ur chairs or a beach towel there's multiple springs the waters cool to cold great place to spend the day. I will say bring ur floats with you plenty of places to float down the river to another spring

The best and most affordable family fun in our area. The scenery was absolutely breath taking. We had the best time swimming exploring and learning to paddle. The service was exceptional and I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for a whole day of clean cool water and lots of laughs. Can't wait to go back.

I've heard a ton of amazing things about this place! Two of us are going for 1st time next week. Anyone know how much a double canoe or double kayak will cost and how much will it cost BALLPARK FIGURE for EVERYTHING INCLUDING RIDE BACK?
AND ANYONE HAVe ANY Recomendations as far as what to bring and what to expect?

Great trip. Staff was available when we checked in. Very short portage to get boat in water. The water was clear and clean. The canoes were in great shape. The river had lots of stops at springs and plenty of places for photo opportunities. Wide and calm so great for family's or larger groups. Reasonable prices for renting. I would stage a vehicle at the end to avoid waiting for shuttle or arrange for your own ride to speed up the process the staff at the end to receive the canoes made it easy. Would definitely go again.

This was our first time going and it was ok we had stopped at the first bridge because it was thundering and lightning we tried to call the office too see how we could get picked up and of course no one picked up the phone it was like the only spot where we had cell Service so we had to paddle like 3 more hours to until we could get picked up we was soaking wet and cold. I wish they always had like something in the threes or something to let you no where u was going or how much longer u had. They should have something out there uncase someone got hurt that’s just how I feel

Great time kayaking. 20-30 mins from Panama City and the springs were really pretty. Kids loved it and that makes it worth every minute.

So much fun! The creek is wide, the water is cold and deep. There are a bunch of places to stop and get out if needed. Canoe rentals were affordable and the staff was super friendly. We will be going again!
