Economy Rent A Car Fort Lauderdale

They charged us over $40 more than the reservation price. And now want to add on more charges including a $20 “administrative fee” for a $1.05 toll. Ridiculous!

I should but I forgot to check the reviews before I rented a car here. I corroborated all the poor customer service reviews that they had. At the time of drop off my rental the lady who works on my return today Monday November 29th at 2240 made me feel so bad and angry. Hope the manager or the owner will take care of it. I understand that everyone need to work but if you can not deal with people there is many other jobs for her to do, but definitely not dealing with customers. She has no manners, her rudeness shows her lack of respect for anyone. I will send an email to the corporation and the BBB as well. This will happen again to anyone if we as customers only left the complaint here because apparently they don’t care about the bad reviews for their business. Have a good luck if you choose this company.

I you have the chance to read the reviews before booking, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY IT'S A SCAM! They offering low prices on Travelocity then at the counter they force you to buy their insurance despite the fact I paid insurance through Travelocity, and paid the rental with platinum credit card which cover the insurance. They charge me $220 extra. After a long flight and hassle to arrive to this location far from the airport, you just want to be on your way regardless theirs bad cars, bad attitude, so you accept your loss and move on.

After they nickel and dime you to death, you might as well just pay a little more at a more reputable company, like enterprise. When returning the car, the staff told me the tires were at the end of life and should’ve been replaced. I didn’t make a cross country trip, this was a local couple days rental. These things should’ve been checked before renting me this car.

They charged me 500.00 for abandoning the car. I had called and got the green light from the supervisor, to leave the vehicle at the airport. I am so upset and will never rent with this company again!

Car was great, my only problem was when they transport you to the airport the drop you at a bus depot and you have to carry your luggage from the van to the bus stop to get the bus.

Read their website and rules. Bring your insurance declarations page and you’ll be all set. Despite the negative reviews I found the experience to be just fine and I’ll definitely be renting again.

Nice cars and attendant but it was a kind of "surprise" a mandatory insurance that I already have with MasterCard.

Forcing extra charges at last minute when you really have no other option, car sucked with windows you cant see out of when it rained and driver assist that kept pulling me out of my lane into another lane, worst car experience ever.what ever you do look elsewhere do not be sucked in by the low initial price in the end it will increase and they will charge you for declining their insurance or put a 500.00 hold on your card.either way you lose they win.

They had no cars. We had a paid up front confirmation that I had made prior and they had no cars for us. There was at least 20 people ahead of us that also had no cars. We had to take the shuttle back to the airport to rent rental that was three times the price because it was the day of …NEVER AGAIN

Do not rent from this company. We booked our mid-size SUV. Our flight came in late and was 2 hours late. When we arrived the rude attendant asked me if I called. Like in mid-air? No. Sorry, we can’t help you.
Don’t do it. Rude!

False advertising on rentals at the last minute they tell you their "unimited mileage" is not allowed with local renters! What a crock! Check the fine print with this business
