Ed the Barber's Shop, North Port FL

Just moved from Seattle WA to here, looking for a barber. The shop had fast and convenient scheduling. Showed up early, super nice staff. Ed seems like a great owner. Cool atmosphere, But let me tell you about Luisma, I came in looking like a mangy stray and he got me right. The detail and care he does is incredible. I will be returning back just for Luisma. If you see this man, I appreciate the cut and the service! I dont really leave reviews but these guys deserve credit.

Normally I go to a different barber, but I had to cancel my appointment with them, and went here. They accepted me as a walk-in. Went in early, so the wait wasn't long. The barbers talked amongst themselves, but provided a quality haircut. Will definitely come back if I ever need a cut outside of my normal barber.

They messed up my hair so bad to the point where its not recoverable.i told them to take maybe half and inch off the top and they took atleast 2 inches.they do laugh at you too if they do bad.would not recommend

Took my son there for the first time. Door was locked. Looked to see if I had the wrong door and than someone all of a sudden opened it. His barber didn't speak any English. I had no idea what was going on. My son 11 yrs old by the way showed him a pic because he didn't understand him. Haircut was ok but not somewhere I'd come back to. Plus they only took cash. Talk about tax fraud! Won't be back

Great service from a good team of Latin Barbers. I have 3 mix sons with different hair textures and every cut is great. We use Alberto.

Went here for the first time. Sign said open at 10. I tried to open the door at 10: 30 it was locked. As I walked back to my car they unlocked the door and came out to tell me it was appointment only. Never seen a barbershop that was appt only. So they had availability so i sat down for a cut. Go figure the barber did not speak a lick of English None. Period. Then I was told it was cash only. What is this a food stand on the side of the road? Then I get me total and its $40 bucks for a fade with a beard line up. Talk about taxing. The worst part is 3 days later I acquired 2 ring worms on my cheek right by my beard! Probably hasn't cleaned those clippers and straight edge in forever. Definitely wont be back.

Best barbershop around, professional haircuts, chill place, awsome communication, Ed barber has this magic Gold tools that makes the cut on point everytime I go RG4L mierma!

Very clean place, it smells good, lighting is very sufficient. Just had a haircut at this place with Omar. I am pleased with the result. Wife approves also!

Got a haircut today. Made the appointment online, easy to do. Walked in and out. Got a great cut. Check Omar the barber out.

Fantastic experience. I was in pretty rough shape after quarantine and working solo for the better part of 2 years. I needed to be cleaned up for my anniversary, so I wanted a good cut and trim. 40 bucks and it was a social media worthy cut (if I did such things). You get what you pay for and this was the best I've ever had.

2nd time to this place trying to give them another chance but the same issues. I booked an appointment and have to wait a half an hour to 45 minutes outside. No regard for keeping customers timed appointments this will be my last time coming here.

Typically when a customer calls a store is because they have questions. Are you cash only? What type of hair do you cut? Do you prefer masks? How long has your potential barber been cutting hair? Even if it's appointment only how behind schedule are you? If you try and call this place they will press the f u button on you followed by an automated text message saying to use booksy to book an appointment. Went on booksy and easily found a better more customer orientated barber. Thanks for saving me $75 Ed!

This is the 2nd time that I've taken my toddler there and each barber has done incredible work. Today we had Omar and he was awesome. My toddler looms so cute with his new big boy haircut. Thank you!

Called the number multiple times and no answer, I've approached the door and they just look at me like there's a pandemic going on. That's a joke, obviously there's a pandemic but would be nice if someone just gave me directions to set appointments next time if I'm making the efforts to atleast be at the door. Overall never been yet, so that's the only issue i have.

So been going there since I moved here in July. Best haircut I’ve ever had and literally tip him double the amount of the haircut, but have to part ways after my experience 1/11/21. Had a 9am appt.got in the locked door by 905, sat down, got apronned up and Ed disappeared never to be seen again and I finally left at 925. No phone call or email to apologize. Not sure what that was all about, but good luck with your business
