I'll start with the restaurant itself, which is off the beaten path and wouldn't know it was here if you weren't looking for it. There's a nice courtyard as you walk in from the back, which seems great to grab some drinks and small bites during their watercooler hours.
I came here to celebrate a special occasion, which based on the reviews and recommendations was a great option. Our server (Stephanie) was incredible and could sell you just about anything on the menu. We started with some cocktails (delish), the Avocado leaf Seared Yellowfin Tuna and the Beef Carpaccio. The seared tuna was amazing with the mango salad and aji sorbet with the tamarind crunch! The beef carpaccio was sliced thicker than a normal carpaccio, which made it very chewy and unpleasant to eat.unfortunate because the carpaccio was the main reason we chose this place. Lastly, we tried the Coconut Gnocchi and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Both were delicious, but unfortunately, part of the chicken was undercooked and very chewy. We let the server know, and manager came by to apologize. We were offered a complimentary dessert, which was nice but not necessary. Overall, an okay experience, but nothing worth splurging over.

I literally stumbled across this place, what a treasure!
This is a chef ownedrestaurant, they say that. But taste it and experience it. I did the 5 course tasting, with wine. The layers of flavor have blown me away. I appreciate
thLISTEN to your server what I thought was olive oil was a chili oil boy that woke me up on a good way! If your looking for some quality dining make a reservation and go on in. The food is phenomenal the service is out of this world! Treat yourself you deserve it!

Update 2023
For my birthday I have returned… only to be swept away in a even more mind blowing food experience! I began this journey with the delicious fire roasted oysters, followed by bone marrow and the grilled octopus, all were flavorful and a delight to the senses!

Again I delighted in the 5 course pairing! No detail is overlooked with this menu creation. I am just a s delighted and blown away by all the details that throw these well thought out delicious dishes! The charred eggplant with the sweet drop peppers that offer a beautiful pop of color and flavor that does not disappoint! My two favorite for this particular tasting is the redfish perfectly seasoned s cooked garnished with acorn squash and a squash blossom that harmonized perfection of texture flavor. The oxtail cannoli lacked some of the visual appeal of the redfish plating (the plating on. The fish was stunning) do not be fooled the oxtail cannoli was delicious! I would love these by the case please my mind was blown by the layers of flavor this dish offered!
My bearded bartender was nothing short of amazing this trip! I started with the whistle pig 10 year, the wine pairing with my dinner. This wine list offers such vast choices I would never try otherwise because it would not be offered by the glass. When you have a bar stocked this well with scotch and delicious spirits, pay attention they are not serving this with below par pairings!

I love this place it’s a gem among this town make a reservation Enjoy!

Delicious food, one of my favorite places to go. I will say when they run very slow they are apologetic, manager comes by to apologize too but it would have been nice to have a dessert or drink offered for such a long wait for food. But what we get always tasted amazing. It’s not a quiet place to dine but again the food has always made it well worth it.

This is the kind of food that makes you dance in your seat. This chef is a sorceress of flavors. I highly recommend trying their weekly rotating Watercooler Menu, tasting menu and season regular menu. You can’t go wrong, it’s magic.

It's been two years since I dined at Edison. The quality has definitely improved! There's a surprisingly large beverage list, including a decent wine selection. Atmosphere is more casual, which is nice for a restaurant serving upscale food.

The price point is a little higher so one might as well try the $85 five course meal to explore the chef's palate and gamut of creativity. (Maybe next time for me.) The a la carte menu is approachable and shareable. Too many menus in Tampa are based around plates for one. My son and I loved the octopus dish with its bright yet warm flavors. The duck, although overdone to a medium/medium-well, was also very flavorful.stars for service. The guy at the bar with the long beard is obviously a passionate hospitality worker. Managers are very present with a lot of table touches (but not overdone).

Recommend reservations as they seem to fill up quickly.

We had the best experience our first time going. Our drinks were delicious and the food was unique. Everything we tried was great but I highly recommend the octopus. Also very dog friendly! We'll definitely be back.

Lovely place! They definitely mix artistry with good service.

Our server told us that they rotate the menu items quite often, so online menu isn’t always up to date!

If you are ever visiting the area or the University of Tampa and looking for good food - Tapas -this is the place. We ate here twice this weekend as we were attending tournaments at the University of Tampa. Everything we had was delicious, the service was phenomenal. Great for date night, family /friends, or just out on the town. Our waiter Matthew was amazing, he spent time explaining every dish- very Personable. I highly recommend.

This is a special place. The menus change constantly and the creations are audacious, titallating and at times exceptional. This is my 5th visit.

I have followed Jeannie Pierola since her days at Sidebern's. She is very creative and now has 3 places in Tampa. Her executive chef at Edison's is Allison Beasman.

Today I was presented with 3 food menus. While I looked them over, I had a nice Mezcal Margarita that consisted of 400 Conejos Mezcal, Ancho Reyes, Fresno Tincture, Lime and Agave. There was a tasting menu, happy hour menu and the dinner menu.

I devised my own tasting menu with an assortment made of Rocoto Chili Chicken Wings, Torched Salmon Sashimi, Tuna Tartare, Wood Fired Oysters w/ 'nduja butter and Brown Butter Crunch and last was the Aleppo Seared Sea Scallops. It was a superb dinner.

There is a never ending parade of creative offerings as all 3 menus change constantly. The happy hour menu changes weekly. The tasting menu does not change as often but does so regularly and I think the main menu gets tweaked as well.

Today the oysters blew me away. Best this old fellow has ever had. Thanks Nick for the great service. He knew every detail of every course.
