Dr Edmund Grant qis so amazing I have not seen him since 2016. We communicated so well thru a sign language interpreter. I was living in North Carolina for several years and moved back to Florida in 2019. I couldn't tolerate my neck called head drop syndrome. My family doctor who is now retired referred me to see a neurosurgeon. He kept telling me to have a major surgery as soon as possible. I delayed until last July I had it done. I was thinking about Dr Grant and wondered how he had been doing! I am back to normal again without a walker. I am a great driver again! You should greatly appreciate his care. He's always a comedian he's tall than we are! I am 5'3 he must be 7 or 8 tall! Ummm! I keep recommending you to see him! Have a happy health!

I have been seeing Dr. Edmund Grant, Neurologist, & Carrie-his right hand-since at least 1998 (perhaps 1996). Dr. Grant has treated my migraines, been with me through paralysis due to injury (ie 8 crushed vertebrae, very severe nerve damage, & paralysis from the waist down that they believed would be permanent), permanent Postherpetic neuralgia from extremely severe Shingles, & he diagnosed (& had confirmed by a colleague at Shands Dept of Neurological Surgery in Gainesville) a rare autoimmune disease called Parsonage Turner Syndrome. Dr. Grant has continuously been rated one of the top doctors in Florida since 2013. He is highly knowledgeable about his field & treats his patients professionally & with honesty. His dictation is done in front of you at the end of your appointment, & you are given a copy after each visit so you are always aware of what he is putting into your medical records. I highly recommend Dr. Grant & his staff, & will continue to see him until his retirement.

My husband saw Dr. Grant today, and we were both thoroughly impressed. He is an outstanding doctor. He is very thorough, professional, answered any questions we had, and very caring with a sense of humor as well! We highly recommend Dr Grant should you need a neurologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grant since 2013. I woke up one morning and could not walk without assistance and could not feel any part of my body. Dr. Grant Sent me for Mri and found that I needed Cervical spine surgery. I had an ACDF for C5-C7. The surgeon he referred me to was amazing as well. I can walk and feel things now. Dr. Grant is so kind and understanding. I always thank him for saving my life. I am always treated amazingly by the whole staff. I love Kerry, Stephanie and Cynthia. I never have to wait long. I will never switch Neurologist. Dr. Grant is my hero! All of the negative reviews are ridiculous. He is the best. I trust him with my life!

Dr. Grant is the old-fashioned type of doctor who is kind, humble, funny, thorough, highly skilled and most of all CARING. While waiting for my first appointment in the lobby, all the other waiting patients were singing his praises. He did a very thorough exam, and was very respectful of everything I had to say. If every doctor could be like this man, our health care system would be perfect. Thank you to his staff as well, including Cynthia, Stefanie and I’m sorry I can’t remember all the other names. They were wonderful too. I am so grateful.

Dr. Grant and Carrie, his nurse, are a fantastic team! It took some time to truly appreciate each other, but they both make me feel like the only patient on the planet. I referred my father to the practice, as well.

Dr. Grant is great and Carrie follows through with everything at 110%.

Nevermind the Google name - thanks so much - Suzanne

Giving them one star was to nice. I was 8 minutes late due to symptoms pertaining to the reason I was coming in for. They wouldn’t see me. Absolutely no compassion for people that are sick. If you want an office that actually cares, don’t go here.

Dr Grant is Amazing! Very thorough, straight forward and knowledgeable in this field, his 40 plus years experience shows. The office lady upfront who checks you in is amazing and so is his team. The best doctor at Florida Medical.

We've been using Dr. Grant for my husband for years. He's not the best at bedside manner but he is the best neurologist in Tampa. Hands down. So do you want to be entertained or cared for? We wouldn't change for anything.

M husband had a TBI from a motorcycle accident yrs ago. I made an appt for him with Dr. Grant in the hopes of finding out if the changes I was seeing in his personality were from the accident.
Dr Grant proceeded to question me in a very condescending, arrogant way In Front of my husband, as if my husband wasn't sitting there.
I retired from the medical field and I couldn't believe this Dr's lack of empathy. It would have been nice to speak to me personally for a few minutes, instead of treating my husband as a mentally incompetent, invisible person.
He ordered an MRI for my husband, and at the testing follow up Dr Grant stated, " he doesn't have dementia ".
My fault for assuming, the MRI at that point was normal, since Dr. Grant didn't mention anything further.
Until I asked for a copy at check out and realized it was NOT a normal study! He just failed miserably to inform us of the findings. He was too interested asking my husband about our ac fan he planned to repair when we got home.
This doctor is extremely condescending he makes you feel rushed and extremely uncomfortable.
We will not be returning.
