Don't take your car to this place. I took my truck there because the A/C was not working ok. I didn't know if it needed freon or filter change or something else. The free estimates sign that he has posted in the pictures is a LIE.

He also lies about the wait time. Eduardo told me he could check my car like in 10 minutes after finishing another car. I ended up waiting more than 2 hours before he looked at my car.

Less than 10 minutes later, he told me that he put freon and that I owed him $80. He also said the truck had a freon leak but he said the freon he put will last about 6 months.

I've been told that my home A/C had a freon leak & the freon lasted up to a year so, I trusted that he checked the size of the leak & I thought it was going to be ok for a few months.

He didn't give me a receipt and I forgot to asking for it. I left to drop off my mom at her house because we had been waiting a long time.

An hour later, I got in the truck again to go pick up my daughter from school and the A/C freon wasn't working anymore.

When I went back to let Eduardo know, he just said that the leak was big & I had to replace the evaporator & if I wanted to fix it, I haf to pay him $1,100.

When I told him what he said about the freon lasting six months, he said that he was giving an example that he can't estimate the time the leak was going to last.

I told him that if he had really checked the truck, he would've known the size of the leak. Then he said he didn't know my truck because he hasn't worked on Ford trucks before.

Then he said that he charges $145 for a diagnostic of the cars so his estimates are not free as he has posted on his business profile pictures.

He said that his job was no to give me a diagnostic but just to put on the freon. How is he going to put on freon if that's not the problem of the car? - that was idiotic of him to put freon if he knew there was a leak and worse that he didn't checked it.

If he would've told me since the beginning that he doesn't know how to work on Ford trucks then I would've gone somewhere else instead to someone who knows to work on Ford trucks.

I lost the $80 that I much needed. I feel that he wasn't honest & that he ripped off, therefore, I don't recommend him to anyone.

So, my family and I have had countless services and auto-repair jobs done by Eduardo and his staff over the years. Close to 5 year, maybe even longer. The only reason I am writing this review and giving 3/5 stars is to CLARIFY the type of work you will get done, how Eduardo works, and what you can expect out of getting your car fixed with Eduardo's shop.

First, I have found it EXTREMELY rare that Eduardo calls us and tells us what is wrong with the car, gives us a quote, and asks us if we want to proceed with the fix. More often than not, we get a call telling us the car is ready for pick up, what was wrong, what he did, and how much it will cost.

Secondly, a lot of times the shop is packed to the brim and it could potentially take a while to get in for work unless it's something major and time-sensitive.

Now, in conclusion, if these things are fine with you, then I can openly say that Eduardo will get your car fixed and you will be charged fairly for the work done. This is not a shop that will fix a problem to an excellent standard of quality and charge for that, they will fix the problem to an average standard and charge below average rate most times for the work. It is a give-and-take at this shop and it is something that you will either (a) be okay with or (b) won't.

IF you want things done a certain way, I would recommend discussing that with Eduardo and getting a quote ahead of time for the standard you are asking for. I am sure Eduardo will accommodate your requests and make sure you're satisfied with the outcome.

Eduardo has been my mechanic over 20 years. He's taken care of the various vehicles that I've owned. He is knowledgeable about all makes and models. He is honest and fair with pricing. His staff is respectful and hardworking. You may have to wait sometimes, as his shop gets very busy. That's because he does great work!
*Tip the staff! They deserve it!
