Great experience. In the hospital one day and home the next. No pain or discomfort. No need for pain medications. After 4 weeks I am doing what ever I want to do!

This is a long overdue review of Dr Edward Humbert and Joint Implant Surgeons. I just had a total rt knee replacement. Previously Dr Humbert performed a left hip replacement on me and two total knee replacements for my wife. We are blessed to have a surgeon of his skill and compassion in Ft Myers. From first appt to final after surgery appt his care and concern for our well being never varied. This is the most professional medical practice I have ever dealt with. If you are in need of orthopedic surgery, look no where else. I would recommend traveling from out of state as well. Thank you Dr Humbert for making me pain free

Several things set Dr. Humbert apart:

Dr. Humbert met in private and alone with my husband following my knee replacement surgery, (Not all surgeons meet privately.)

Dr. Humbert has a nerve block inserted following surgery, which means zero or almost no pain for up to 72 hours,

Although Dr. Humbert has physician’s assistants, he always met with me personally at each and every appointment.

He is warm, friendly and down to earth, as well as being very professional. He gives easy to understand information and does not in any way push surgery. He answers any and all questions and does not ever act like he is being rushed.

My husband is a retired physician and has
accompanied me on most office visits. He, too, is very impressed with Dr. Humbert. We both agree there would be no doubt about our choice of orthopedists if we were in need of hip or knee surgery in the future.

Dr. Humbert along with Karina and his other staff are a blessing! He is kind, compassionate and really cares about his patients. Karina is a true blessing and is always there when patience’s need her assistance. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure you understand your options. He is not quick to say you need surgery but let’s the patient make the decision, if there are other options available. Dr. Humbert has replaced both my knees, 7 weeks apart, and I could not be happier with my new knees! I can finally do things and enjoy life in Florida without knee pain! I had therapy with his staff as well and can not say enough about how kind they all are! Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida is definitely the BEST!

Dr. Humbert explains things clearly and concisely, prefers a sequential series of treatments rather than opting first for surgery, and is extremely professional and courteous. I feel very confident with him and his approach.

Dr. Humbert has been straight forward from the beginning of my knee replacement process. He and his team did an amazing job explaining what was happening and how everything should happen. Well, it has been 1 month since the surgery and I am walking without a walker and feeling better each day! Thank you Dr. Humbert!

I saw Dr Humbert’s PA. He addressed my questions proficiently and gave my knee the shot it needed. Walked out with no pain. First time it helped immediately! Normally about 1-2 days before relief.

TERRIBLE DOCTOR. He does not even read your medical history including previous surgical procedures. He is simply an assembly line worker in a joint replacement factory. DO NOT HAVE A JOINT REPLACEMENT HERE WITHOUT GETTING A SECOND OPINION SOMEWHERE ELSE FIRST!

My first experience yesterday with this doctor and office. Great experience with front desk, surgical tech and PA gives a damn good injection into knee. The doctor is conservative and doesn't jump into surgery which I agree, especially during pandemic. He also has other specialists in office including Melendez (pain doctor) and Dr. Hinn (neurosurgeon) who operated on my father about a decade ago. I was extremely satisfied with this experience.

Absolutely no pain. Very good staff and dr. Have recommended Dr Humbert all around. People seeing me heal so fast is a big plus. I'm back in the pool, Yea!

Dr. Humbert, his PA (Tyler), and all the staff are fantastic! Dr. Humbert repaired rotator cuffs for both my husband and I years ago and we both got full range of motion back! Now I am having a total knee replacement done on May 18th. I would highly recommend Dr. Humbert to any seeking an orthopedic surgeon.

Injured my shoulder working out. He was able to repair and get it working again. The staff is very friendly and they don’t keep you waiting forever. I will use him again!

I have had 2 total Knee Replacements done 1 year apart by Dr. Humbert. I was referred by my DR. I am glad I listened. Both operations went hitch free and my recovery has been excellent. I could tell Dr. Humberts patients from the rest in the recovery area at the hospital. They had a neater job and were doing physically better than the rest. Look out fish, here I come!

The entire organization. DR office, surgery center, physical therapy, is top notch. Patient focused, personable and positive staff, clean, well organized, a well oiled machine. On time at all appointments, great followup after surgery. I was so nervous about my total hip replacement surgery but after I met Dr. Humbert and the team I was less so. Turns out the anticipation was far worse than the surgery. This is the practice you should go to for any joint implant surgery.

Seeing Dr. Humberg was a wonderful experence. His staff is very well organized and professional. The office is a first class facility and I was called in and cared fore within a very reasonable amount of time. My condition was diagnosed and treated during this one appointment.
