My kids have been going to him for 15 years. Always exceptional staff and service. Dr. Eggen takes time to figure out what is going on with the kiddies and we always leave with a smile on our faces.

I am very sorry to have to write this review, but this is all I can give. I have been coming here with my son since he was born earlier this year. While he was great in the beginning, it seemed very hard for me to get through him to listen to my concerns. Took a long time and countless appointments for him to finally agree that my son had a milk allergy and needed hypoallergenic formula due to intolerance to regular milk based formula. Recently, back in November, I had talked to him twice about concerns on my sons behavioral changes and starting rolling his eyes back after a small roll off my bed and although he did check him out, he didn't think anything wrong with him and just dismissed it as he just scared himself and me being an over worried first time mom. I then was back and forth to the emergency room twice in between and they told me the same thing. Nothing was changing with my son and I grew more concerned, so instead of doing a back a forth again with the doctor, I switched to a different pediatrician because I wasnt going to wait and wanted a second opinion. From there I was immediately sent to a pediatric neurologist to have testing done. As it turns out my son has been having seizures all month with his official diagnosis as infantile spasms which is a form of epilepsy in infants. I have spent the last week in advent health Florida hospital for children having all kinds of tests done on my son and having to have special medication given to him. The Dr failed to see the beginning signs of this, which is some cases can be very fatal. I am happy I finally have treatment for my son, but am very upset that it was dismissed in the beginning and delayed my sons treatment by a month.

Fist first come. Appointment was 11: 15 and they don't see my son until 12: 10. Nothing say on front desk just wait. It is not professional and respect the time of other people is a good practice.

Speaking from over 12 years experience with Dr. Eggan, I must say he is very professional, knowledgeable, astute, thorough, and perceptive. The office staff is friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Wait time is rarely more than 5-10. He gives your child whatever time is needed - you're not rushed thru his office with the "get em in get em out" attitude which I've observed in some offices.
Dr. Eggan is one of the most caring people I know and I cannot say enough good things about him.

He is an alright doctor, i don't agree with the way he kisses my children though, just the way he does it, I'm surprised he hasn't gotten reported. He also seems to have almost like split personalities. When we first started seeing him, he was always in a great mood, happy to see us ya know that sorta thing, now it's almost like we must have done something wrong because he seems to be real distant like every visit! I don't understand.
. His staff (other than the black nurse) don't remember her name, I'm sorry.can be the same way.really nice since visits, then have an attitude the next visit. My best friend took her son there when he was a baby for two visits and came back and said she'll never take him to dr eggen ever agian! She said he was rude and didn't take the proper time to see her son.she said he acted like he couldn't wait for the visit to be over! My daughter is now, 15 and she refuses to see him. She said she'd rather go to the ER! That's awful!

My 3 of my kids have be coming to him for year and my 1 year old since he was born. I could not ask for a better doctor. He is amazing with my kids and he takes his time to answer any questions you may have.

Dr. Eggen is amazing. However I’ve been taking my 4 year old to him since she was born. Started taking my newborn to him as well. My youngest is now 2 months old and in need of her two month shots. And it has been a mission with his office manager Teresa. I scheduled a appointment and on the appointment day she told me she couldn’t see my child due to over booking and she had to move the appointment to the following week. She also hasn’t allowed me to speak to the doctor when I have questions over the phone. As a young mother I find this behavior inexcusable and I will not tolerate it anymore. Dr. Eggen I’m sorry but you have lost two more patients due to this terrible terrible woman.

Very good pediatrician who takes the time to work with the kids and make them comfortable. He also explains everything to the parents and allows them to choose the options that are best for their family. He is great with our two children with ASD. His office staff is also great and have always been able to schedule sick visits the same day, usually within hours.

My grandchildren love him and I was very impressed with him as well, btw I'm a nurse.did not find him rude at all, asked very good questions, spent time answering my daughter-in-laws questions and very, very good with children, highly recommend
