El Criollo reviews
17If you like Mofongo or Puerto Rican cuisine, this is the place to go. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip.
Wow, just wow! Love the atmosphere. Food was out of this world! Gotta try the fried cheese! Chicken Alfredo is fantastic! I will definitely be back!
The food, the staff and the atmosphere are good, it's just that the place doesn't look like a restaurant for the cost of the food and the staff who visit the place, the accodacion, I don't know how to explain what I know is that it's not up to par.
The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were perfect. The skirt steak was done to perfection and the atmosphere was friendly. The staff were super nice. DEFINITELY coming back.
Food was amazing. Carne Frita was fabulous. If you get the stuffed mofongo it’s huge! Enough for two people. Great place. We will be regulars!
The place is beautiful from the landscape, the decoration; impeccably clean from the bathroom to the common areas, the waitress friendly and helpful; a Cuban girl, who looks Dominican but I don't remember her name, the food is excellent, I recommend this place 100%
I have been in many Puertorriquen restaurants. This one was the worst for the first time for my mother's birthday. I went to this restaurant, and none was good.we ordered 5 pilons of different Cain the mofongo was to salted fell like burned the criolla salsa flavor was sweet and sour my wife order a whole fish with rice and beans the rice was bad the fish no have no taste and I telling the one take my order and been very hones and sincerely about the food was horrible and after look they was mad they don't do anything on respect I just grab mi tap I spend $220 and still give it $20 for the tip for a food I been spent much less on another's restaurants with better taste food is the first and last I don't coming back.
I ordered the Can can pork chop and it had no flavor was a waste of $26. The Moro was good. The service sucks and they take to long. I hate restaurants that don't bring your food all at once. My son finished his meal when we received ours. This is not authentic Puerto rican food. No arroz con gandules which is a staple food. Go somewhere else to eat.
Everything we ordered was poorly cooked, the sauce on the stuffed mofongos was sweet and the fried fish tasteless, bad experience, we will not return.
Good food, excellent service and you don't have to wait long for your food to be brought to you. I will definitely come back more often
El Criollo is by far the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Florida. We recently went to Puerto Rico and had Trifongo right at the source, "La Isla! And El Criollo blew them out the water for flavor, presentation, and just satisfying to the palate. Its Simply Superb! Its a must to visit the El Criollo, you wont be disappointed.
It is a very nice and varied restaurant in its food, although its specialty is sea food, here I leave you some photos, greetings and we love you, thanks to my followers.
Food was hot and well done.
It. Its caribean food.
The server was food.
The restroom was clean.
Food was delicious. We had 3 types of mofongo and all were great. The trifongo was too sweet but the meats were seasoned nicely and delicious.
What a great surprise to find delicious Puerto Rican food at El Criollo. It's a little pricey but it is delicious.
First time in this restaurant, the food and the place were very good. The only thing that the service could improve was they served me the food and until I finished it, no one came to my table to ask anything, I had to move a little so that they would swallow the bill out of this is all very good
First the horrible food, like it had no seasoning. Second, the bad service, when the waitress arrived she was silent and didn't ask us what we wanted to drink. We ordered lemonade and it was watery and didn't taste like lemon. We asked for a garlic sauce for a mofongo (which, by the way, looked like mangu) and we didn't eat it because we didn't want it and the waitress asked rudely “why did they ask for it? ” And with a bad face. To be honest I never go to that place again.
