El Morro Cafe reviews
14Drove all the way over here to get something to eat. It’s 2: 46 on a Wednesday and there’s a chain on the door?
I didn't like the food at all. The flavorless rice with abilluelas The leg tasted like vinegar The only thing I ate was the cassava. I will never come back.
Great service, great food. Definitely have to try! It was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had.
Nice little place, Cuban was really good, beans and rice were also very good. Empanadas are terrific. Nice welcoming environment.
Great Cuban Cafe! All the usual food choices at excellent prices. Fast counter service. I had the Ropa Vieja and asked to have it pressed on Cuban bread as opposed to a meal. They had great service and were very accommodating for my special request. My food was delicious. The decor was attractive and up to date. Overall an excellent experience!
Friendly service, great prices, good ambience with plenty of room for dining. First time here. Went with the egg and bacon sandwich and pork sandwich. Very tasty. Wished I lived across the street. Hope to be back soon.
This place has the BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES! Better than la Teresita, better than Mr. Empanadas, better than any other place is town. This Cuban was so phenomenal and I gobbled it down before taking a photo but y'all. Don't ignore this place. The staff is very friendly and nice. It also has a cafe to eat and a Buffett style line. Also the cafe con leche was delicious, an actual espresso machine not a one button machine like other places. 10/10 new favorite lunch spot.
Fantastic service, great food with a lovely family/friendly environment! Instantly greeted once I entered the doors, the staff is friendly and attentive. The owner was present and very involved (which is much appreciated and respected). The food tasted fresh and gives you that nostalgic home meal feeling. Left me craving for more! Highly recommend!
The food and service was absolutely incredible. Very authentic. This will definitely be a new spot I will frequent regularly.
Dined in. It looks like it's still in transition. There was no menu on the wall. And its buffet style. But food was good.if you want to just eat and go or pick up and go it's for you.
I was so impressed with the selection and freshness! You can tell there is love behind what they serve!
El Morro Cafe has great service, great food and pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely revisit when back in Tampa and recommend to all my friends.
Omg! Such yummy authentic Latin food. Service was fantastic and the carne guisada was my fave. I love finding authentic latino restaurants that use traditional recipes. WEPAAAA!
Between the food, location, and service, I can’t rave enough about this place! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend stopping by your new favorite restaurant.
