El Patron Restaurante Mexicano reviews
16Very good food quality and faster but courteous service. Juan, our server, understood that we were looking for vegetarian dishes, suggested some and provided fabulous service.
We had the pleasure of visiting El Patron while on vacation in Orlando. My son loves authentic Mexican cuisine so I hopped on yelp and decided to give it a try. We lucked out with the most amazing server, Angel! He deserves 10 stars- he was super attentive and gave us great options to order! Overall, the food and ambiance were great. I had the quesabirria taco and guac and had no complaints. The guacamole was super fresh. If you are thinking of coming, do it and ask for Angel to make it a truly amazing experience.
At the time of paying our bill, the waiter, a guy with a Venezuelan accent, approached to collect, he practically forced us to tip 18%, we usually leave a tip but not what says “SUGGESTED”, he billed our account including his tip! Clearly we will not return to this restaurant because of this type of abusers who impose what they want.
Alright. I know there’s a big billboard with ‘“El Patron” best tacos in Orlando”’ but I’m gonna give it to you straight.
If you’re an average person that don’t know what good Mexican food is, this is the place for you. Besides getting below average, overpriced, REALLY terrible tasting tacos ($7.50 each), you’re gonna pay for chips and salsa ($4) plus you’re in for a long wait. Oh almost forgot, they don’t bring you lime with your tacos, that’s another 10 min wait while your tacos get cold. The meat in the tacos tasted old and chewy Also the water tastes very suspicious.
Ngl I could keep going but I’ll leave it there.
Bonus point: If you wanna taste the ACTUAL BEST tacos in Orlando in my opinion, go to MEXAS TACOS 5 mins away from this place, you’re welcome
Food is FANTASTIC and AUTHENTIC! Staff is friendly and musica is on point! Oh and the Micheladas… can’t go wrong! If you are in town, this spot is a MUST!
The food is great the staff is always friendly. The buffet is kept stocked up the whole time, and the price is decent.
We went on Dec 30 with 9 people at 6 PM and had an incredible meal. Not only did they accommodate the dietary restrictions of my in-laws, the service was incredible despite being busy. We had a range of food but our favorite was the super spicy hot sauce. It was legitimately spicy but filled with flavor which is not typically the case. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, my husband had the vegetarian fajitas. We loved the black beans and white rice as again, they were full of flavor. Drinks were also great, we recommend the Mezcal Margarita!
My wife and I frequent this Mexican restaurant quite often. We are from Texas but our company does a lot of work in this area, so when we come into Orlando we make sure to make plans to eat at El Patron. Our waiters took note that my wife had allergies and her plate was served without certain Mexican toppers.
I ordered the flautas with rice and black beans, and my wife had enmoladas- basically it’s like a chicken enchilada but dipped in homemade mole sauce. It’s the best Mexican food to be found.
It’s original and nothing extreme.
If you are allergic to certain items just
Let them know and they will make sure the kitchen takes note of it.
This place is great and not expensive.
Fabulous service by the hostesses and the wait staff Angel, and Brenda.
Thank You all for being so kind.
We found this place around the hotel that we were staying at and decided to try it. The food quality was horrible. We ordered empanadas and they were drenched in grease so we returned them. Then we ordered tacos - shrimp, fish, and chicken. The shrimp taco was not bad but the smell of the fish in the fish taco was horrible. The fish was obviously bad. We did speak to the manager and won’t be returning.
Everything trash sprite comes after the food is done and he asks me to give respect because I got mad that my child was mad that he didn't get to drink anything we didn't even eat the main food and got charged 200 dollars never coming back don't recommend to anyone
Please do not got here. Unless you want to pay for mediocre chips and salsa, get some nasty water, and pay way too much for tacos…$7.50 for a droopy, flavorless taco! That’s crazy. Our server literally never came back to our table after they dropped the food off. Disappointing
We vacation alot I mean alot. I have never met rude servers of this magnitude. I get we all have bad days but to have multiple servers be rude made the experience horrible.
The atmosphere is gorgeous! Got lucky to find this gem on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. Everything was amazing food 9/10 (steak could have been softer) drinks were great 8/10 I had a margarita flight (could have been a bit stronger) over all nice fuity taste. Desserts were awesome as well. I definitely recommend. Server was swift, in and out with check ins and keeping our cups full (Juan). The staff today was so amazing that I had to come, and leave a review after my nap. I caught a case of "the itis", LOL. Will be back again.
Our server Juan Ca was very attentive and gave us great service. He came several times to the table to make sure we were alright! He is the best server in the world!
Omg! This place was amazing! Laura was our waitress. She was great! Thank you for making our first day in Orlando amazing! We definitely coming back!
Lunch Buffet is Fantastic! One of my favorite! Highly recommended! Don't forget it's only until 2 pm!
