Excellent Mexican food, the best refried beans I've had. My coworkers agreed! Staff is friendly and accommodating. Place is small, but tidy and clean, prices very reasonable.
Parking is tight, but a couple hundred feet east is a large plaza with plenty of spots. Ask for the kitchen special hot sauce if you're adventurous.

Fantastic place. Everything is authentic and if you don't believe me, take a peek at who's cooking and running that kitchen. You'll be pleasantly pleased to see someone who looks like a grandma. No wonder the food tastes so good and is full of love and flavor. Even better that I live close by to make this a regular stop for me.

Everything was great. Real Mexican food, very tasty and fresh the carne asada was on point.

Me and hubby were looking for a breakfast spot coming home from casino and came upon this place. Was informed by server they had been open for 6 months. She was very nice and polite. Chatted with us a bit about military.
Husband ordered chicken tamale (yes, for breakfast!) and I had the pork tamale. They were delicious and came with a side of salad. Seasoned to perfection!
He also ordered the breakfast burrito which we had to pack to go because he was full off the tamale. I ordered two Barbaqua tacos, rice and beans that I had to box to go because I was full also (we ate the chips and salsa they provide when you’re seated). They have three different salsas and my favorite bottled hot sauce! They are still waiting for their alcohol license. We will definitely be back and possibly order delivery. Check them out! Those negative reviewers don’t know what they’re talking about and were just being nasty. That’s not how you give reviews.

Food was awesome. Little disappointed no alcohol. Staff was so friendly and very clean. 10 out of 10!

This is the best Mexican food I have had since moving to Tampa. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Restaurant area was very clean and staff were very friendly. Portions were large enough that the tamale was a meal itself. Hands down best in town! After living in Texas and Arizona I have been looking for authentic Mexican food, I found it!

First visit today. All dishes we ate were delicious the place is clean and staff very pleasant. We will return very soon.

The answer is yes. The food is good and worth the stop to enjoy delicious authentic Mexican food. My only complaint is that the salsa for the chips is too watered down, but still flavorful. Delicioso!

I stopped by last week for lunch. I got tacos al pastor and a tostada pescado. Both of these items completely rocked my socks. Truly outstanding authentic mexican food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They really do represent the flavor of mexico, the food is true to the name. EL SABOR ALL DAY!

We order here yesterday for the first time and we got a Chicken Tostada, Beef & Chicken Tacos. Everything was delicious. I am a huge fan or Horchata and the one they have regular one it was Yummy! Will definitely eat here again.

The food was excellent. All fresh ingredients. The horchata was amazing! My first time there and the place was busy. Limited parking. Happy eating!

Food was outstanding, service was great. Currently there's no alcohol, they are waiting on their liquor license. Will definitely go again!
