Best Cuban Food Ever!

This spot is authentic as it could possibly get when it comes to Cuban food. It felt like someones grandma with all her secret recipes was in the back of the kitchen whipping up all the delicious food.

Just walking up to the restaurant, you knew it was going to be good because of the delicious smells fuming from the building.

The pork was phenomenal and so was the yucca. The pork meal also included a tamale which was also fantastic. There was not a bad thing I ate while here.

The staff was super friendly and hard working. They sat us immediately upon entering the door and giving us water and bread as quick as possible. Food and service is unmatched and definitely the best meal my significant other and myself have eaten during our time here in Key West.

The first stop on any Key West visit, this place has been consistently excellent since I first lived there in 2008. A no-miss, Key West must!

Pro tip: Get the picadillo

The food was delicious and came out quickly. The rice was cooked to perfection and the mahi seasoned just right.

This was absolutely the best spot we found in Key West. We didn't want the typical Keys food. This restaurant had what we were looking for. We visited twice and enjoyed every single dish. THE SERVICE WAS AWESOME!

Authentic Cuban food with fast friendly service! Had the Cuban mix which is an actual traditional pressed Cuban sandwich with the side of the house made black beans and an ice cold Palma beer! Sandwiches are huge we split one and no one was left hungry. They have lunch specials everyday and in-house made sangria. Also great Cuban coffee and flan! Mmmm.

Wow - this is definitely the place the locals go for lunch. Incredible prices for huge portions of authentic Cuban food. I got the daily special (“chicken enchilado” - it’s not like Mexican enchiladas, it was chicken in a spicy sauce with plantains, rice, and black beans on the side). I got the cafe con leche and I would recommend it if you’re not used to the strength and bitterness of traditional Cuban coffee. Very extensive menu - we could come here for weeks and not run out of great options. They could easily charge “tourist trap” prices with the proximity to all the resorts and Duvall street but they don’t! Seems like a down-to-earth, family-owned kind of place. We will definitely return if we visit Key West again!

Great little place off the normal path. Free parking makes this place even more attractive.

We used to go there all the time when we lived in the Keys. We also went there after we moved out & would visit the Keys like this time. But I'm sorry to say that this last time may be the last time for us. All my friends that tell me they are going to KW, I would tell them where El Siboney is at but not now. My wife's grilled chicken was burned/over cooked. The Moro had no flavor like it's suppose to. The maduros plantains were a mishmash instead of separate plantains. The Key Lime Pie was not good. Too much meringue & not enough Key Lime. Maybe they switched chefs, recipes or owners. Not the same restaurant as before for sure.

Tried all of their cuban sándwiches. Roast beef and por sándwiches are definitely worth a recommendation. Wait times could be better and service is a bit rushed.

Delicious food! Never been to Cuba so I can’t tell how authentic it is but regardless, it’s very very good service is very quick and staff is very attentive. I’ve been to this place a few times over the last few years and it has always been awesome.
