I love this place! Queso dip, bean dip, guacamole, salsa! Mmmm, so good! Love the drinks, the reasonable prices and sizable portions. The enchiladas are tasty, beans and rice spot on. Chicken soup is delish (enough for a solid three helpings)!

I have been going to El sombrero since they opened their doors. I have never had a bad experience there. Food is awesome. Service is awesome. It's My favorite Mexican restaurant.

Dine in was fine on both of my visits with friends but when ordering out, man that’s an issue! Whether it’s placing an order directly over the phone or UberEats, there’s always something wrong. Missing items, lesser quality food or inaccurate pick up times. I’ve given them a chance to redeem themselves but last order placed To Go was not good. Carnitas taco was “whitish” with weird “hard pieces” (still a mystery) and the chimichanga was not a chimichanga. I swear the meat inside resembled wet cat food, to which my Mexican husband refused to even taste it which says a lot. Come on guys let’s not lose those kitchen skills because there’s competition out there.

First time there and everything was so good and will definitely go back! I got the combination dinner 1 taco 2 enchiladas with rice and was so good.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. But I’m forced to say 1 star. Placed an order at 9: 05 on the el sombrero website and the food never arrived. Spoke to someone finally at 10: 50 and she was so rude and refused to help me. Keep in mind I ordered through their website and paid their $10 delivery fee. When I asked for a refund I was told to call the driver. How can I call a driver that I don’t know!? When I paid them to freaking deliver it. Very rude! Never ordering there again

Food was fresh, tasty, and fast to the table when I visited for lunch on a weekday. My only knock (which may not matter as much to others) is that the size of the chimichanga was about 1/3 a typically sized chimichanga. (Beans were included but rice wasn't.) I don't usually leave a Mexican restaurant still feeling hungry, but several in my group did. Price was on par with other area Mexican restaurants, but given the smaller portion sizes, the value is a little less.

I came here for a birthday celebration with a group of friends/family! Love the environment and the service from when I walked in the door. They we so helpful when it came to the birthday festivities. Food was soooo good! Will be back next week for another birthday celebration!

Horrible experience! DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE! They advertise GRUBHUB but do not honor the orders placed online. I WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY WERENT GOING TO SERVE ME MY FOOD! I had to reach out to GRUBHUB for a refund. They don't know how to work technology and have no customer service skills at all! I am so disappointed with this place, I asked to speak to a manager and got no attention, no one ever came and the servers were not even concerned with my issue. Ridiculous! The really lost a good customer today!

HORRIBLE! I will never spend my money again at this horrible excuse for a restaurant. I have come to this place multiple times because it's so close to the house and they are open late. It's not worth the headaches of getting the order wrong or items missing or the staff that hates their job. It seems like they are in need of a manager that can delegate the work and provide some organization.

I placed on order through their website and showed up at the expected pickup time. I waited for an additional 30 mins before a server came to the front. There were several people waiting for their order too but they came after me. I let the her know that I'm picking up an order, she asked "which company it was through" I tell her it was on their website and she tells me "no, that system isn't working " I tell her I have a receipt and she said " I have to call them and cancel it"
This is where I get irritated because you won't even try to help me or give any kind of service. She didn't care at all if she looses an order or a customer. I'm sure the owners would feel different.

There was know acknowledgement upon entering, Placed online order at 7p, i left over an hour later, after asking several times for order, the kitchen never received the order is what I was told although I had asked the server several times to check. Walkins were seated and served. I never received order.

The air conditioning is other broken or can't keep up with the volume of the facility. The moment we asked them to turn on the ceiling fans a bunch of dust fell on us. The service was absolutely horrible. We had to consistently ask any server that walked by for the missing items from our meals. We had to repeatedly request for clean plates as they had previous dried food on them. The food is very bland considering it's claimed authentic mexican. First and last time ever! A restaurant inspector needs to pay this place a visit and shut it down!

First time ever coming, service started out rocky, but it got way better. The food was delicious and the prices were amazing! The burrito loco is freaking huge and so filling, two people can eat it!

Best food with great prices. Economical dinners with outstanding taste. Margaritas is to die for during their happy hour. Buy one get one free is best deal on margeritas during happy hour. Fresh, yummy, economical with great service. I recommend this place.

Literally some of the best al pastor tacos I've had in YEARS. Good authentic Mexican flavors, drinks great, good happy hour and the food is always fast. Only thing I didn't care for was the torta but that was just my preference and not the places fault. Shrimp cocktail fire, fried fish fire. Well priced.
