El Tamarindo Cafe, Fort Lauderdale FL

The guy at CarWiz (just down the street) recommended this place for some good "local" food. I think this was the BEST Cuban sandwich I've ever had!

Just picked my friend up at FLL, we had a couple of cuban sandwiches, they were delicious. Great server also

Due to the exaggerated price, we checked the check, they wanted to charge us more, they corrected it but it was still exuberant even though it was not poorly prepared but I don't think it was to charge us so much. No wonder we arrived and it was empty despite having 4.4stars my families ate at a lame table

My buddy got the fried chicken. It was awesome. I got the pork belly with the sauces. Thebpickped onion sauce was my favorite but the chimichurri sauce was just as good. I will be coming back here.

Very good restaurant and even better shirt! The lomo saltado was sensational.in fact the best I've tasted to date.

Not only is this restaurant beautiful while Maintaining a homey feel Alex showed top tier hospitality, the food was magnificent i got the chicken special and it was packed with flavor im a regular now, I’m glad i didn’t go to pollo tropical!

This place was fantastic. The house specialties could never be match elsewhere. I recommend anyone who is interested in Cuban/Latin cultured food to come by and have a bite. You won’t regret it.

The waiters were very helpful and their recommendations on the menu were spot on. We didn't wait that long for the the food.

I read the reviews and lots are bad. I have to say my experience with this first visit was pleasant and the food tasted great if I'm ever back in the area I would definitely be going back. As for the different menus and menu prices I didn't see that but will keep a lookout. The one thing I have to say is $10. For flan is ridiculous even though it was good.

I originally picked going here because they had Cuban food. I didn't realize that they had other choices. I had one of the Cuban dishes with a side of the carnalized plantains. They were better than the ones I had in Costa Rica. My wife had ordered the chicken parm and I had a few bites and it was soooo good as well. If I was local I would go back here just to try everything once. Oh and price? Very good for Ft Lauderdale. Try the Flan.

Horrible timing. How is it a Cafe spot and closed at 9 am on a week day.
I could only hope they changed their operating time and open earlier!

Yum x 10. So I kinda ordered dessert first when waiting, I saw Coconut Flan and couldn’t resist. I had that with a cappuccino and wow. Chefs kiss it was amazing. Not heavy on the coconut just a taste/hint and the flan was perfectly creamy. Service was prompt. Never had an empty glass. We ordered chips & salsa and I had a steak quesadillas… hard to mess up but the steak was extremely flavorful. For a simple meal it packed a favorable punch. I will definitely be back to try out more off the menu.

I was fasting and planned to get cafe con leche.let me tell you delicious! I wanted to get coconut flan for later but decided to skip it and just plan to come back. However, the people were so nice here they decided to give us some to taste and my friends thought it was delicious as well.customer service 10/10, coffee 10/10. Recommend!

We enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The Tamarrido was my husband favorite. The price was reasonable. Thank you for the service.

I actually arrived here this evening to pick up an ubereats delivery. What inspired me to leave this review was the fantastic service I received even as a delivery driver. The staff was very kind and treated me so a glass of cold water and bowl of soup while I waited for the delivery order to finish being prepared. I’m blown away and am looking forward to stopping in again soon, this time as a dine in customer to try out a few items on their menu!
