El Triunfo Bakery and Cafe reviews
7 I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with this place.
I ate un calodo de costilla (rib broth) and although the ribs looked a little weird I was so hungry that I still ate it. Shame on me for eating it.
But shame on them for the negligence. Soon after I ate it my stomach started blowing up like a balloon and got really hard. And a couple of hours later I'm literally having shivers, Diarrhea, vomiting, followed by high fever I felt like I was getting covid for 2 days!
Today we are on the 3rd day and I am still nauseous and my stomach is sensitive.
I don't like giving bad reviews because im sure this was not on purpose but after talking to my dad about it. He comes to tell me that he also went a couple of weeks back and was highly disappointed with the soup too.
So people be warned!
The owner and staff are nice but I would hope that he reads this review and maybe find out what is going on. Maybe there is something in the water or their procedure of meats is not hygienic enough or they are buying short dated foods to save money.
I also notice another lady that was there eating, ask for some lime to put on her empanada.the server said let me check I don't think we have and brought her a stale lime.with skin that was brown and green.
You be the judge.
14 dollars for two glasses of black coffee at less than half and 2 old and cold cheeses, I won't go back in. Don't sponsor Bad service, too.
First time I went and I liked their empanadas better than those at the pandebono house. Favorable prices, very good place, pay to eat
Pan de bono was tasty but cold. Bread pudding was old to the point the sugar had caramelized.it was borderline flan. Chocolate chip cookie was rock hard. The chocolate 3 leches was delicious.
Long wait time in an empty restaurant. I had to take my food back bcz it was not done as I wanted. Second time, it looked prettier than what it tasted. Cafe con leche was cold. And, when I go to eat out, I can appreciate real silverware and plates. The food didn't meet my expectations.
It's good but they never answer the call to order and you have to wait a long time when you are there
