Our time at Elcielo was exceptional! Food was delicious, service was flawless. We had a great time, and plan to come back very soon!

One of the best dinners I ever had. We tried several of the dishes that we shared amongst our table and they were all exquisite. The quality of the ingredients is amazing and the association of simple ingredients in original combinations made every dish a delicious surprise full of flavors. My favorites included the lulo ceviche, the yucca gnocchi, the halibut and the wagyu.

The service was also excellent, which is not an easy find in Miami, especially our waiter Harold who was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable and friendly. But overall all the staff was great.

100% recommend if you're looking for a fine dining experience or to celebrate a special occasion in Miami.

Our experience at Elcielo was truly extraordinary! We can't wait to go back. Each dish showcased impeccable presentation along with exquisite flavors. And the cherry on the cake: The service surpassed any other in Miami (thank you, Harold, and the team—you are the best).

By far one of the best restaurants in Miami Beach. It has a selection of plates from the Michelin starred restaurant ElCielo (in Brickell and Washington DC) and you can order “a la carte”, which is convenient if you don’t have the time to have the full experience. The tree of life is absolutely my favorite.

My team and I went to celebrate my promotion and everybody made me feel so good! Every one of them congratulated me and made the night so special. Came here to celebrate my bf’s birthday. Didn’t end up using the spice week menu because the food was reasonably priced a la carte. Incredibly create and delicious food with excellent service.

Unbelievable food, service, atmosphere and quality! We had most of the options on the Miami spice menu and we couldn’t get over the quality of the meal we had for the price. The yellowtail ceviche was my favourite dish of them all.

My boyfriend and I ate here last night with high hopes, and were not disappointed. We are big fans of Katsuya, which is just a few steps away at The SLS, so we knew we were in for a treat with Chef Juan Manuel Barrientos’ new installation just behind their iconic South Beach lobby.

Upon sitting, the manager and waitstaff regaled us the the origin story of the concept and how the new Miami Beach location was slightly different than the existing Miami restaurant. While the other location was known for its adventurous tasting menus, this new spot is serving their offerings à la carte, with the intention of enjoying everything family style. Though family style sometimes means large portions, this is not the case here. They recommend sharing 3 to 4 items per person. We decided on 7 plates from various parts of the menu and were delighted by each one.

Jose, our server was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. Luis delivered our dishes and told an amazing story about each. They explained how Barrientos is a Colombian Chef with Classical Japanese training which was evident in the incredible flavors we experienced, simultaneously bold, delicate, and innovative. What could be a better marriage of Latin and Japanese cuisine than chicharron and hamachi “nigiri” with finger lime. We loved the tender Wagyu with yucca mash and bok choy, Jose personally recommended the ribs, which fell right off the bone in their delicious tamarind bbq marinade. Even the bread is not just bread, the Tree of Life is a wire sculpture of a tree topped with a warm, savory loaf of yucca cheese bread.

The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. In the back of the room, you can see chefs diligently crafting plates, which adds just a touch of drama to the experience. A fitting venue for date night and large groups alike, and definitely a must try for adventurous diners and seafood lovers. I will note that there is no outdoor seating, and probably not much on the menu for little ones.

All in all, a wonderful experience centered around a highly unique menu and framed by excellent service and an interesting story.
