Ella's Salon Jacksonville

Bought a gift certificate here for my mom for Christmas so she could get her hair done. Robert was recommended to me by one of his clients who has great hair. My mom came back with the worst haircut she's ever had. He gave her the standard old lady haircut - the completely out of style, poofy on top with the tapered neck that every woman over 90 at your church with blue hair has. She came home devastated. She's worn a pageboy cut since she was a teenager and he cut the back and sides off and although she didn't ask for anything specific, she assumed he would at least keep the style. He did not communicate with her about what he was going to do or discuss her style and then surprise. Why anyone would give a woman who doesn't wear that style, that style is beyond me. She doesn't want to leave the house until it grows out. I'm very upset because I paid for the gift certificate plus whatever she put down for him to ruin her hair for the next few months. She will NOT be back and I wouldn't recommend this stylist to a poodle

Just moved to the area from new york - and having my appointment soon - Mr, roma contacted me almost immediately after my request to book, thus far very impressed with interactions and professionalism of the salon.very excited.i made it to the appointment and was very excited for erionna to do my hair! We had sat and talked for 30 mins a few days prior about what we were going to do.she started the partial foil highlight as we had spoken about.i am a natural honey blonde - specifically not to use toner, im trying to accentuate my blonde with babylights with a straight across cut.i was adamant about no layers as i braid my hair for work, and it makes it stick out of the braid.she didn't speak much during the process, she walked into the other room when i was processing, which okay i respect it, she brings me into the other room to wash my hair and starts to remove the foils.she brushes my hair right after she took off the foils and took front pieces of my hair with it! She kept combing my hair aggressively bringing my hairline with it.she then washed my hair / inspected my scalp / washed it again and APPLIED toner - which we hadd already talked about not doing!

she brings me back to the chair and i see my beautiful honey blonde hair Grey*** with uneven highlights and i'm borderline in tears as she's blowing my hair out.she then starts to cut layers into my hair, and then when i told her no layers - she continued to do them.i feel she did whatever she wanted, and i feel disrespected.she charged me 300 dollars for a partial foil / cut / and curl, and she kept my hairline as most of it went into her sink.i'm not one to leave reviews like this but my boyfriend told me i need to stick up for myself.

Rebecca really gave me my dream hair. I went in with dry long awkward ends and layers that did not connect from a former stylist that did me wrong for a year and a half. I had a shag that was just scraggly. She listened to me, gave me a bomb massage at the wash bowl and sent me off with gorgeous hair! I just walked out and got a compliment instantly. Thank you for working your magic!

Amazing experience at Ella’s salon. Eriona is very professional, sweet and she does a great job with my hair. Definitely recommend them!

I had my first appointment with this salon today and it was great! They were on point with getting me in quick, as I had a wedding to go to this weekend, and were super friendly! I was so pleased with the cut, the environment and price! 100% recommend! Suela was amazing and gave me the best cut! Definitely going back!

1st time at Ella's. Eriona did wonders with my curly hair. She is a sweet person and did a terrific job.
